Personally, i like it the way it is. It balances out final builds, and still give you all the options as to which one you prefer looks-wise. As for the weapon elements, elements are not as strong as raw damage, except when an enemy has the normal damage resist perk, in which case, element damage gems will do well. At least now everyone can look different and not stick to the best ones as everything becomes the best in the end. The purpose of getting equips to high levels is to level up your character and improve stats. One more thing... there's not really a "beat the game" coz the enemies will just scale virtually infinitely the more you play, unless you are just talking about the story mode which is pretty shallow in the Beat-the-Game sense.
If it is anything like IB 1 and 2, bosses do not increase in strength with awakenings (/rebirths/bloodlines), but after they are defeated. So the non-boss part of the game becomes harder because you've evidentally already defeated all the non-boss titans in order to reach the boss (so that you'll have a greater challenge, and better opportunities to earn xp and loot, on your next romp along the same path, all to better help you prepare to face the boss a second time).
Yeah, although it would be more convenient, entertaining, and usually less expensive prior to "beating the game" to just keep using new weapons rather than upgrading one. As with the last game, the point to leveling equipment is mainly to boost your base stats since that's the only way the characters level. The fact that the equipment gets better this time around and that the difficulty accounts for the stat boosts from said equipment makes leveling equipment require a bit more thought than before, but you're still going to want something to level after you have a whole set of level 10 stuff, assuming you want to continue in general. Once you have everything you're wearing at level 10, the only way to get stronger is to find better gems or increase your base stats by leveling more equipment.
Gave up with this one and went back to IB2. I still have things to do in that one, and it's much better...
I agree. I mean to some extent IB3 has become my goto IB-type game, but this latest update made the game feel like a chore to play now, rather than an enjoyable grind. Before the last update, i was playing IB3 at least an hour a day. After 2 days of playing through the last update, i havent really touched the game since.
Is anybody else here having problems with iCloud? My game won't connect to it. This has been going on since the Observatory update
No man, no problem here. Except that i have to connect to icloud manually everytime the app is launched. Was able to play a few rounds today because i saw in Chair's face book post the Thanksgiving helm addition. The helm looks like crap.
Yeah i did a little research before i saw your post. I didnt see the ones from IB1 and IB2 coz you cant see it if the season has passed, and it was probably when it was my IB1/2 downtime during the Thanksgiving helm.
Well, ugly so that you can look silly wearing it. Take the Easter helm or this Turkey one for example, they go with Thark horribly right =)) Still, the Halloween and Valentine ones aren't too bad.
Whoever thought that every interaction in a menu needed the entire screen to flash white needs to be forced to play the app in a dark room. It's headache-inducing and completely unnecessary. Additionally, removing "retry" until after you tap "too difficult?" after your second death isn't helping anyone. It's just a burden. Also, is anyone else here genuinely annoyed at the camera animations for the shopkeeper? "Let me shuffle over here and pretend to touch the rug. Okay. Let me shuffle back over here and stare forlornly at the wall. Uncomfortably close camera zoom. Seductive hand combing over head. Eye roll. Okay, camera zoom back out. Repeat." Every. Ten. Seconds. Just have her stand still. I spend as little time in the shop as possible because it's so annoying.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I literally woke the baby up laughing at this post! You sir, made my day! And yeah, i agree with the screen flashes since i play with lights off before i sleep more times than i want to admit to my wife.
Anyone struggling with trying to pick up bags of gold on the field? I can literally tap it a million times and nothing. On the new iPad Mini. Also, does anyone have a hard time dodging on an iPad? I played Infinity Blade 1 and 2 on my iPhone, but I just recently got my first iPad. I find it hard to put my thumbs so low to dodge, even with the bigger buttons. Wish they would allow you to put the dodge and block buttons where you want. My thumb naturally falls at the top of my iPad so it would be awesome if you can bring them to the top.
Im also on a mini, and for gold bags that are far away from your POV, can usually be gathered by tapping a little lower than the bag's graphics. The dodge/block placement would be better with a move-it-anywhere customization option, but the current placements were never a problem for me as they worked well from where they are at, and how sensitive they are.
This is not The thread, but INFINITY BLADE 2 It's free at IGN,free game of The Month, for all that haven't already buy it(i buy at launch day) take it Now!!
Enjoying the heck outta IB III, and it's got me going back to play the first two games in the series as well. "Explore" mode was a godsend, but I've noticed that there is no option to revisit "The Pit" (where you first meet the gem cutter), nor can Isa access the inner chamber at the Seccian Desert. Anyone know (or care to speculate) why these levels seem to have been excluded from "Explore" mode?
