Star slots are the slots you get when you level up weapons, usually when you upgrade weapons to about level 7 (although some items get them at 6). On star slots, you could equip ANY non-weapon class specific gem on them.
I'm afraid it gets a lot worse than that. Wait until you hit a Titan that has that skill, 40 times your hp (yes 40 times it), elemental attack and Titan elemental defence. Or has the no parry skill where all parries have to be great or perfect. Or magic resistance. Or Titan special attack speed skill. I just hit a soulless Raidrar that I simply cannot beat with a level 200 character because of his parry special skill and elemental offence and defence. Its a one hit kill each time that I can't even parry against unless its a great or perfect parry each and every time. Which I'm pretty sure even the best out there would find difficult. And as much as I'd like to hone my skills, Galath simply cannot be beaten in the same scenario so I'm not going to waste my time trying. Deleted. The difficulty spike is just too broken at this stage for all but the most hardcore player and winding back the rebirths is just not worth the time. Pity really because they got a lot right with the timers in the update. 2000 chips for the fifth upgrade slot was just a bit too much on the high side though. It's really very weird what they are doing with it because some elements are nothing short of brilliant and others just break the game completely. I'm really very confused on this game as to what its trying to do or be as its very dichotomous. Massive difficulty spikes mixed with some very easy parts, the ratio is just all over the place with this update.
Can't seem to find clashmobs ever since the latest update... Is it just me or is it the same for anyone else?
Hehh, the Epic Games forums just exploded with whining threads about the loss of glitched money and glitched battle chips. As for the increased difficulty, I don't have any problems with that, since I always keep my awakening counter on a reasonable level. I don't need any frustration in my life.
I don't know why, but actuallt I didn't have high hopes for this update. Obviously they wouldn't delete the battle chips, and that's enough to dislike this game, but those difficulty spikes... WTF. No matter how many updates this game gets, IB2 will still be the best in the series just because of no timers (well, the gem system was a timer, but I didn't find it as annoying as forging weapons here).
Yeah so it does seem that cooking gems was a glitch because they have patched it. Man what kind of airheads at ChAIR messed up coding like that? I was so certain that's legit Still, your assumption that everybody in this thread exploited glitches and was no better than cheaters was irrational. That one I stand by my words. Buuuut I digress Now it's the maddening hard conditions that is getting me. Dealing 10% raw damage is torturingggg
Ok so I've been playing this update here and there today, and I just bottled it up and I was in the place in the Vault of Tears that I was one when I closed it, but my money, coins, and equipment (including their xp) we're reset to what they were pre update. The game also isn't connecting to the cloud servers
I have found a strange gem and I'm not sure what it does. It's a Titan LVL +50 gem. It may be possible that if I'm wearing it before I move towards a new enemy it stops them from having the oberpowered abilities but I'm not too sure.
After losing my savegame, I deleted and reinstalled from iTunes. I don't know how, but I got the previous version and my savegame was there. Now I've got a red balloon saying IB3 has an update available, but I'm not sure if I should update or not after all the bad experience...
Maybe I'm missing something real obvious, but where exactly is the Metius Observatory? I don't see it on the map, and played through all the acts again, but just can't find it. Any help?
