IB3 is just about to receive it's first content update. I wont count it out for choosing which one is best in the series just yet. The secondary currency and the massive upgrade timers are a huge downvote in IB3 though, so IB2 has an advantage in that respect already.
Yeah, so far IB 2 gets the nod for best in the series. But, as we all know, IB 3 isn't finished yet, so it's not over yet. And, yes, the timers and dual currencies will always be a point of negativity. It is after all a 7 dollar game.
http://infinityblade.com/news/Breaking-News-Infinity-Blade-III-Soul-Hunter-Revealed Oh and: The new update is compatible with both iOS6 and iOS7, enabling all Infinity Blade III players to enjoy the most up-to-date version of the blockbuster series.
Yeah I'm just judging it fromthe current state, hopefully there will be more choice as to where you go in these updates, and the ability to go back to castles whenever you choose would be spot on. The reason I favor IB2 is because it gave you a fantastic sense of choice even though it's on rails. This... This is just a straight line, but with advances in a lot of other aspects. I also preferred the simpler gem system in IB2, and would have preferred if they kept the recipes the same and not have to use potions and whatnot for darkfire gems etc. But oh well, at least they're cutting the timers a little.
After what i read and heard from the posts, article and the video, I believe we will get another content update for christmas.
Really, thought it was just for the Christmas Holiday Helm... so it's another major content update in December? Wooot!
It's more like a speculation. First major holiday 1.5 months in its release and they give us Soul Hunter. Since christmas is generally regarded as more observed and much more important than halloween, i think 1.5 months from the first update is a good possibility of another content update.
So are they supposed to be on ios7 already? Cause I updated the other day, been playing since then and haven't seen any clash mobs....
I nearly just cried 5 minutes ago when I booted up IB3 for the first time on my new 5S and saw this masterpiece of graphical fidelity.
Sigh... It's really sad how forums work. You end up repeating what you said to those who dont follow a certain thread which happens almost always. Clashmobs, even for iOS7 was a test run. It happens on and off. The final rollout of clashmobs, they said, will be when the new update becomes available for iOS6. In fact, i was also able to participate on 2 clash mobs (but the second one was glitchy) while i am on iOS6. You probably lucked out on the clashmobs when you updated, as there arent any more test clashmob runs.
