Please Read before any more arguments Guys please stop the arguing, this thread is for the discussion of the game not about how you feel about others way of playing the game. You cant change their ways so let it go. You're making it difficult for people to find relevant information in the thread and taking away the experience of the site. You are in a community where everybody has how they wanna play. If they want to hack that's their choice and how they enjoy the game. Once a product is release to the public for the most part it is up to the individual how they use it (assuming no legal restriction if you're one to follow rules). We are here because we love iOS games and want to be able to converse with others who share the same passion. Please I just want this to be a place for constructive conversation, not pointless bickering from behind a keyboard because you don't agree with how someone else enjoys playing their games. Plus when people play games a variety of ways it allows newcomers to see options of playing maybe they would like better than the vanilla way intended by developers. This is a collaborative place where we should should be open to everything. It's a single player game and people should be allowed to enjoy it how they choose. and if you have to argue at least try to do it in a dignified way like a civilized person and not in a rude, demeaning, sarcastic tone. It take away from the heart of this place and no body wants that.
One part of this game that is so frustrating: you can only get skill points by mastering items - but it is sooo impossible to master the lower end items without getting killed or massively injured in fights. If I always use higher end gear and weapons, then the other items won't get mastered. What do others here do? Or do you just say forget the lower end items? (Which would seem a waste). I tried to see if there was a way to just restart lower awakenings from the settings like the previous two games, and there doesn't seem to be - the only way to go back to one previous awakening is to get killed by an end boss. I got all the weapons from that place in the desert - which I thought would be a decent place to master items as you can fight a battle and leave - finished the game, but it doesn't show up as a place I can go to anymore (even after replaying the other levels that led up to it before). Should I just keep committing suicide by fighting my way to an end boss, then attacking him with low end weapons until I get to an awakening that I can manage with the low end weapons? If that place in the desert no longer shows up, that sucks.
Yay, finally took some time to finish it up. Easy game besides the last act. Ended up one-comboing the Worker though. Saved up for a rare prize wheel in act 3 and literally two-hit every enemy until act 5. Still fun though. Need to read the second book since I have no idea what the story is in this game. Doubt I'll really replay much of it though..
Hmm how does this one work? I've been getting some terrible gems in fusion lately and it's bugging the hell out of me!
Yeah, I feel your pain there. The only times I died in the game was the battles where I tried to master low level weapons in the late awakenings. First of all, you can go back to previous awakenings from the menu. Simply start any act with Siris or Isa (they have separate awakening counts), and you can select "last awakening" that will lower your awakening by 1. Also, You should try to find an act and awakening that is managable with your low level weapons, and fight the titans there. Also, if you choose return to hideout from the menu, then you can start over any act without killing the boss. My last advice is to level up the same level weapons at first, regardless of weapon types. This will lessen the frustration, because you get over the worst weapons fast.
If you have the Darkfire gem, it'll make mastering low level items so much easier. Equip it on a non-weapon so that you dont have to unsocket it everytime on each weapon. Other than that, also equip Atk+ and Other elemental gems into non-weapon equips. The only backside to this is that you wont have a lot of HP, but at least a couple breaks will have you killing monsters leaving smaller room for error. Once you get to level up a weapon to lv3, it is significantly easier from there onward.
Thanks guys. Some of my weapons are level 2 still. I don't have any level 1's left (except a few of Isa's heavy weapons). It is the level 2 light and dual weapons I am having problems with when all the badgys are levels 50+ and I have to use serious weaponry and equipment to take out the bosses. But now I can jump back a few awakenings to master those weapons and items. Does that place in the desert show up anymore once you get into all four rooms? (Ie. in later awakenings?)
Yup. After you are done with Isa's desert mission (on each awakening), the non-story mission will become available always.
It hasn't showed up for me the last couple of awakenings, even after finishing the game and after finishing the first desert mission the next time. Did you get all the items behind the locked doors?
Yup... I have them all unlocked already, and the mission shows up after i complete Isa's story mission in that area. On each playthrough.
Maybe there's a bug in my game. Well, I'm at the last act again, so will finish that and see if it shows up in the next new game.
Which version are you playing? They changed it in one of the updates to allow you to go back multiple times.
I didn't have the space so only updated it a few days ago - don't know how many updates there were but I should have the latest one now.
So what are the stats of frigid that make it better than Infinity Blade on level 10? My IB is lv10 and has 1200 Atk.
ALL light weapon at level 10 will have 1200 attack with no element, 2 star slots one light-only-gem slot. Infinity Blade will have alternating Bonus Combo and 3-hit Combo multipliers every 2hits and then every three hits after that, in a loop, because the Infinity Blade cant combo wrap. Frigid hits a full Bonus Combo every other hit due to combo wrapping. Bonus Combos: Infinity Blade: LRLRR Frigid: ULULU <-- this is what makes Frigid OP. I believe the Bonus combo is a x4 multiplier and the 3-hit combos for light weapons are only a x2 damage multiplier.
