^I've bought a couple large keys, but no wheels at all yet. At least now i know what im saving the chips for. Sheesh. Chair should just remove this secondary currency crap.
No the treasure gem does nothing at all. Don't anybody waste time on it. The elemental gem does though if you follow the instructions. And if you read all the way in the thread, there was a guy that started them all forging, then came back to it when it was within a few minutes of being complete and did the last step. He did this to save spending all his chips and kept it to a minimum. So read all the posts on first page. Also, the biggest hit to chips is buying the ingredients. I didn't have that cost because I had a drop rare items gem equipped with a long time so I had all the rare roots needed in stock. I was unaware at the time I forged that I could wait to hit finish now option until I saw it in a later post on that page. So it did cost me cost 480 chips for two gems but that was still a better result than a large key has given me. So basically get a drop rare items gem as high as you can, play away for a while and just pick up the ingredients in the game. It will take a good while but spending that many chips will leave you destitute later on I'd imagine. I didn't have to spend the 3000, had the ingredients as I say above, but I did keep every chip I made in the game until last night. A high drop rare items gem turned out to be very useful for picking up the ingredients in the game. I originally wanted to see how many chips could be got from the achievements so I didn't spend them at all on anything. I'm kicking myself now though because I started buying large keys and finishing upgrades and I've none left to earn from achievements. I had to do the finish upgrades now option a lot lately as I've mastered everything and can't level up without it I still have a few thousand chips but I've no achievements left to earn decent amounts. So I will have to be very careful with chips going forward. It is going to get very annoying. And I sold my rare items gem. I basically was fully stocked from it with weapons and potions and couldn't see a further use for it. That one I'm particularly kicking myself for.
^Cool... thanks for the tips. I also forgot to mention i spent about 2k worth of chips to buy all the maps (not sure of the exact amount, but feel free to correct me if it wasnt around 2k chips). I dont think the maps were all worth it.
Hopefully some of it will help. I think a rare item gem is the best way to go and then just spend time picking up the ingredients. It will be time consuming though. But once you have them, do the recipe and start forging, waiting until close to finishing to select finish now will minimise the chip cost as well. The key to minimising chip spending on that finish now option seems to be making sure its the option with the least amount of time left before selecting finish now. But selecting finish now is key to it. Good luck with it. And no, the maps really were not worth it. All the items they gave, that rare items gem had already given me more or less. Man, I really should not have sold that gem, that was really stupid of me.
Don't buy large keys. Better, don't buy any keys at all. There are lots of keys in almost every level, and since Isa doesn't need them, just don't buy any. If you really need them, wait for the merchant's discount. It's worth it. The large keys? I bought 4 and got 3 times gold (around 240K) and with the other large key a level 5 weapon for Isa. The cheapest wheel is "just" 100 chips and you can get level 3-4 weapons. I don't think Chair can just remove it. The best thing they can do is balance the ammount you get and the prices.
Here what i can remember with my fusions... 3 elemental defense gems (any) = Skill Drop+ Gem. It can either be for gold drops, item drops or gem drops. Mixing 3 of these Skill Drop+ gems will yield a higher quality.
Ah, that's right, thanks very much. I was struggling to remember how I forged it in the first place. Cheers.
For my Isa I'm using Mullinax... Has anyone noticed how this weapon is bending during Isa's roundhouse attacks? Wow!
The Ark. High amounts of gold off enemy kills, high gold count on boxes, and you get to level both Isa and Siris. Plus, you get to practice fighting Raidriar(?) and Galath a lot, before you let Galath kill you.
Guys just started playing it at last and I'm enjoying it a lot! Just one thing where can I get the button for that song so I can get the free weapon? You know the Monster-Single! Thanks!
Chair Store, found on the lower right when you've opened the Options menu on the upper right on the character customization screen.
Any info on gem forging recipes? I' m interesred in the rare defense (if there's one here), and the rare spectrum gem. I've read somewhere that the IB2 recipes are not working here.
Regarding Isa's heavy weapons, unless you have gems for stabbing, doing combos with them is useless. You get more damage by doing up, down, up, down, etc. than up, up, stab, stab, up, etc, and also it's less likely that you'll fail that since it's way easier.
A higher quality Skill Drop+ gem? Or just a higher quality gem of any kind? Because I fused 3 Skill Drop+ Gem gems together and got something totally different. It kind of made me a little upset because now I have zero skill drop gems and that was my best way of getting gems. On a separate note. Is there a way to go back to previous acts? I blew through acts 1 thru 3 on my first try with both Siris and Isa. I think I was only level 5 when I beat the level 50 bosses... Now I'm stuck on act 4 because the level 75 bosses keep stomping me. So now I'm grinding both characters but I'm stuck playing the same two missions over and over. I want to go back and play the other ones since I only got to play those once... The difficulty seems to be all over the place with the bosses. Some are way too easy and some are way too hard. Now I'm stuck in an awkward spot and wish I could go back. What's the deal? Plus, I have a map that I'm pretty sure I need to use on the first mission. Now I can't even play it.
lol Hadouken's combo for level 1/2 is down, down-right, right. Level 3 is down, down-right, right, down. I'm sure the 6 hit combo is (down, down-right, right) x2
Holy crap i just realized something regarding the story which i shouldve seen earlier but didnt... Spoiler The kid at the end IS Galath. Galath did say he cant be killed by his own weapons, so Siris's solution was to find the QIP editor that made him be reborn as a baby every time he died in IB1 (this is why he took TEL with him to The Vault of Tears to find that piece of equipment), used that on the infinity blade he used to strike Galath with at the cutscene during the end of their battle. Hence, the achievement "Toddler of Secrets." Should have seen this earlier, but was too blinded by the "happy ending" to think correctly about the story.
