There is no iCloud function in this game. There is cloud functionality though. Cloud storage is obviously the storage of information on online servers. iCloud is just Apples name for its cloud online storing system in which app and device information is stored on its own servers. Cloud is universal whereas iCloud is specific to Apple or apps that incorporate Apples system, so just because an app uses a cloud based storage system doesn't mean its Apples system or that it will show up in the iCloud settings or storage. In this particular case, gamecenter id is used to create a personal profile and time stamps but the information itself is stored on Chairs own servers with its own systems and not on Apples so it will not show up in you iCloud storage or settings. In the same way that not all phones are iPhones, not all cloud is iCloud. Chairs system is equally as reliable and just built directly in rather than having Chair have to go through Apple as a third party in it which gives them more control over it and how it works. If you do the device built in iCloud full backup of your device, the data is stored on Apples servers but that is specific device information and can only be used for device restore and not single app restore or single app access, even though it does store the save points of all your apps which can be used for a full restore of your device to a previous state. Basically not all cloud storage is iCloud. Cloud is the universal term and iCloud is just Apples version of the universal system.
Are there any plausible information and theory on what we'll get as new game content in upcoming updates? I'm pretty sure Chair has made much more to the game, but they cut it out from the first release, so they can include them later. Here're my thoughts and theories/ideas: 1) Hideout Somehow I feel that the hideout can offer much more than just a blacksmith, gemcutter and potion master. There're two unoccupied houses (one left to the gemcutter and one right to the blacksmith), so maybe we'll get more content there? 2) More Infinity weapons Since there're only four obtainable Infinity weapons in the game, I'm pretty sure the missing two weapon types will get their Infinity weapon in the future. Also, there's the room at the end of Seccian Desert with places to put the different Infinity weapons. There're six cage instead of four, so there'll be some secret there too. 3) Negative awakenings Since all of the IB games had a negative bloodline/rebirth, I'm totally sure that'll happen here too. 4) More maps, worldmap trials, etc. These're just the usual plus content without any story value, but they'll come sooner or later. Any other ideas?
Someone told me around 40 pages back that more dragons would appear after killing the first one if I continued playing. Well, after finishing the game 3 more times, I am quite sure there are no more dragons aside from the one you kill in first place. @ChAIR: Include more dragons, please.
Patient grasshopper. Dragons don't just fall from the sky. But really, keep playing, you just haven't got lucky.
So in IB2, areas would open up as the game progressed, so you could always take side/different routed etc. in IB3, I haven't seen that... Are there no real route choices yet?
Can anyone tell me how this cloud save works then? If I delete the game and want to download on another device orrrr just want to delete to make room for awhile then redownload later..?
you just need to be login with the same gamecenter account lets say you are making progress with account A, you delete the game months later you reinstall the game is you have in gamecenter still account A you should have your progress still there, to play with you save in another device you have to be log in gamecenter with the same account A, just remeber to have active the cloud save in the settings of the game
Yep. Basically, you're gamecenter id is your unique save identifier and each time you play, gamecenter, combining your unique id and a time stamp, creates a save point. Then when you move to another device, in order to access that save point it needs your gamecenter id, which you enter into gamecenter itself on the new device, that then accesses the most recent time stamp for the game associated with that id and then loads it. They are tiny files so they are not heavy data loads or anything that might affect any data allowance you might be on. And you don't have to do the whole log in thing every time, it only applies to new devices associated with your own account or if you happen to log out. Also note that if the device is not associated with your account, it does cause a conflict so is not possible to sync and obviously not recommended for numerous security reasons. Edit. What Ausar says above is accurate also. One thing of note though is that when you delete the game, it will ask if you want to keep or save gamecenter in relation to this game. Always select keep. Now it probably doesn't matter too much in this particular case as the data itself is stored on Chair servers, I would still err on the side of caution and select keep. @ heavnsix. I do notice at times that I can't swipe on iPad 4. I'm putting it down to the character being stunned briefly by a hit. I did initially think it was a possible issue like yourself but it does just seem to be stun effect.
These path options only were added in content updates for IB2... Which was also the same with IB1. We're thinking IB3 will be the same.
I can't even play the game now. I have IOS 6 and I can't upgrade to IOS 7 because my device isn't compatible. I tried updating the game directly from my ipod, and there wasn't enough room, so it's frozen trying to update, but can't, and I can't play it. I updated it on my computer, and tried to sync it, but lo and behold my computer downloaded the IOS 7 compatible version of the game. I deleted the game off my device, and when I try to download it from the app store, it wont let me, and doesn't even give me the option of downloading the latest compatible version. Great job Chair. Can't even play the game I paid for.
iOS 6 update and support will be out in October, although no specific dates were given. I'm on iOS 6 too, I'm waiting as well.
Arg. My On Block, deal 909 damage gem backfired on me while having practice runs on Galath Lv750 (i think he was 750). I was practicing blocking and forgot i had the gem on and galath died forcing me to get to the next playthrough. Now at this point even non-boss enemies chunk out over half my HP if i get hit. Damn those enemies with dual short swords/daggers, they almost always get a hit in on me.
Man I have been forging a gem and it has been taking about 2 days and they wanted me to pay 1,200 chips to finish it... What's next 2 years? Just kidding but watch it be an on scratch get 50 gold gem or something.
Does IB3 have a secret mode or secret items like the negative bloodlines in IB 1 and 2? It definitely is cool to get the dark Mech armour, etc. in the first game. Figured out how to get bloodline -1 by goofing around and got the kicking equipment. Because of the high level stuff, I was able to get enough money quickly to surpass my game in the regular bloodlines. Now I'm just playing the regular bloodline to get the bloodline 20 achievement. Does #3 have joke armour and weapons, like the cardboard armour in 2 and the balloon sword in 1?
Negative game has been added in later updates in both IB1 and 2, so probably no negative awakening for now. I haven't come across the joke Holiday helm, a pity, I really like it.
