I bought the Infinity Blade on my second playthrough in the map that's the desert coliseum where you find the gem cutter.
Well, I've leveled up a bit and wanted to level up my weapon since I couldn't buy one as powerful yet. But then I was awarded with a 24 hour timer... So I started playing, and would get through quite a few fights, and then die from an enemy. So, I didn't start a new awakening every time I went back into that location. I was just too weak without that one weapon that I was waiting a long time for. So, I had to just put it down. Chair and Epic should more careful with these timers... Otherwise a lot of our complaining and talking about putting down the game will not only cause me to not want to pick it back up as much as I once did, but it will turn others off of the franchise. However, with such a linear storyline, I'd say just keep playing 2 and wait for an update to open up the locations once you've beaten the game. I'm tired of playing the same linear story. IB1 felt more open to me.

But here's the thing... Once you enter into a linear storyline that has a definitive ending, in order to have GOOD replayability, there should be options to just travel to any location and fight enemies until the cows come home without having to watch the same cut scenes. It doesn't make sense to go through this story over and over, like we did in the first one. I mean, why do I have to save the blacksmith after I've already unlocked him and he's working on my stuff already. doesn't make sense. Kind of a bummer. I feel like it makes sense to have the option to choose freely where to go after the story ends because in the saved world there are still enemies scattered around that Sirus and Isa could be getting rid of until our fingers fall off. And I love exploring locations, finding new passage ways, etc. I just wish that was the second half of this game: choose locations, and explore them until you reach an ending point where there's a chest behind a sweet boss and you go back to the hideout. No story other than you're ridding the saved world of all the remaining baddies.
Really? That's pretty fast actually, much faster than me. I had to use the final mission a good few times to build up cash for it which felt like it took an age. I do have all the top items now though bar the top rings. I kept the Holy and keep upgrading them. If I ever reset I'll have to get your strategy off ya.
Yeah, I wish games had better save mechanisms. It almost has become where games are just kinda throw-away-able, cause at some point you might lose game saves due to things, even ios 7 has caused alot of lost game progress. Too bad icloud saves wasn't implemented better.
I think they did. In fact, the savegame was intact. The problem was that the game wasn't able to load correctly from iCloud. I think update 1.0.3 solved the problem definitely.
Haha, well there may have been some deaths in between the second to last level and the level after the level I got the blade (if you can follow that haha) I also mastered and sold items like crazy (those gems that increase chance of getting a weapon came in handy)
Ah, I get ya. Good strategy. I did something close to that but focused on the last mission. (Someone on the official forums tipped me off to that one) The two chests in there are good earners and have helped me out a lot. The enemies Isa meets there also kicked my ass a lot.
Guys, help! I just got this game and I cant wait to play, and just because of that it wont instal! I have no idea what to do, any heads up?? I just updated my iPad2 to iOS7, everything else is working, downloading and updating fine. I have 5,7 GB space free and it just wont instal! It goes full circle, then the icon just remains darkened and when I tap it it resumes instalation at 60%, when it completes - it resets again. Anyone got any ideas? I'm freaking out already! I'm starting my semester in 3 days, thats all the time I will have for gaming for a while and if I can't even get to play this game .... dunno.
I have a bug when playing as Isa at this one particular spot. When defeating enemy and going into next area the game just freezes. I been redoing that part and it keeps freezing, I cant progress I think it is chapter 4 with Isa. Has anyone encountered this bug before? How to get past it? Thanks.
infinity blade is by far the best game on iOS devices, it has all the action of a 3rd person arcade game and has set benchmarks for graphics.
Your next attack will get a damage boost. If it's something like "perfect parry to attack charge" 40 atk, if your attack is 1000 and you perform 2 perfect parries before attacking, and then you attack, your move will deal 1080 damage and you'll lose the charge.
OMG... i just added it to crafting as i had On Parry, +400 atk charge. Not even on perfect parry iirc
I also had this problem. The installation progress on the app icon is incorrect. When the icon goes dark it is in fact still installing. You can see its progress by looking at the Infinity Blade 3 page on the App Store, the blue circle. It's takes a while....
Found my favourite gem. Stab attack +200 with Isa's dual weapons. Its beastly when she uses special attack. Wish I could remember how I forged it to get a stronger one.
