Well looks like ill be deleting until the next update....my act 4 isa mission disappeared and I have no way to continue
So I'm on the second act, the first time you get to ply as the lady. She starts walking through the desert, and a dragon comes by and kills me. Hmmmm.
Sshh don't tell the story! It was a slight twist that got me interested. Those infinity daggers I love Isa's dual weapons, and those are top notch.
Agreed. Light weapons, with the new shield bashing moves, and Isas usage of them, are now fun again. I'm not as big of a fan of Isas jumping with dual daggers/claws, though I do love dual. I just wish that heavies were made a lot more powerful, as I feel they will become obsolete in the late game once again. Especially without a rainbow defense gem...
Actually i think the Heavy weapons are the most powerful now, but they have the disadvantage of constantly switching resistances. The duals are very weak right now, i think. Thing is, based on the damage formula, im pretty sure when we reach insane levels again where we generally pump attack for our stats, the duals will outclass the other 2 weapon types eventually. But right now, Heavy Weapons are king.
There will be a mission where you finish it. I thought it was bug at first to but I couldn't get it lower than 500.
Hey if anyone could answer my questions I would appreciate it. 1.) are there rainbow gems again? If so how do you make them? 2.) is clash mob supposed to be working? I only saw it 1 time. Also, is anyone slightly disappointed by the game? Even though they added new areas, I hate how linear it is. I mean there are no side trails, not really any side missions... I feel like you have to play the game the same way every time. Anyways still a great game.
I can't figure out if you've played IB1 and IB2, because that's how it's always been. You're not supposed to be able to kill enemies in a single break for most of the game, but practice until you can survive fights to break them about 3 times. If you don't want to put in that kind of effort, it's understandable, but that's the kind of game it is. As for Blood & Glory, well, this is the original 5 minute test of reflexes where you get one-shotted, so why would that one be the greatest game? I can see how that's an annoyance. Every IB game was this linear on launch. Put it down for now and wait for the inevitable content-adding patches. (Also, no, neither rainbow gems nor clash mob currently exist, though I guess it's possible nobody knows how to make the former yet.)
At least we were able to choose which route to take, which boss to kill. IB3 forces you to go through the exact sequence every single time, completed with 45 mins of cutscenes (or so they claimed). I'm guessing they rushed the development, again
Honestly this part irritates me as well. I'm so used to the timing in IB2 that this change throws me off completely. I guess the devs did this to make it tougher for old players, but I would rather have them keep the same moves + timing while focusing on adding more unique moves instead. IB3 seemed to have disappointed a lot of fans because of this. Story's a bit too simple, some things like Siris' origins left unexplained, ending didn't provide much closure either. I'm okay with it though because I never saw IB as a story driven game. I like it for the swipe/ slash fighting and the fact that skills can triumph the need to buy IAP.
Sorry let me clarify. You weaken the dragon and them there will be a mission to finish it while it is weak. During this mission I don't think it can fly away.
You're right on that one. I was especially disappointed that later acts don't simply let you choose which character to send, which would have provided some much-needed freedom. Plotwise I'm much happier with IB3 because IB2 totally dropped the ball on story (read the preceding book, then play IB2... ouch) while IB3 at least has the major elements intact. Any more story and it'd become massively irritating on replays, too. While we're talking about things we don't like, my major gripe is that most of the bosses don't power up on new playthroughs. "Raidriar?" gets stronger as does the final boss, but the other Deathless in between are just pitifully easy when you refight them. I'm facing off against lv 200+ regular enemies and the boss is something like lv 125 and a total cakewalk, making all the areas before Act 5 feel like filler.
