Am I just really good or was I supposed to be able to beat the first boss on my first try? He was 25 and I was only level 3 with no upgraded gear. That seemed too easy...

Ok Isa glitch, this was when I was fighting Thane, I died and the game just stay stuck, I can hold down the fast forward icon on the lower-right but it just loops and it looks like Isa is dancing... Sigh.

Is there a way to reset your game without resetting your character

I encountered a glitch with Galath wherein he turns all black.. and shiny gold and silver linings. :(

Will post a screenie later if I encounter it again. Not sure if it has been posted before, lol.

Although this game lacks a lot compared to IB2 (hopefully an update fixes this), at least it seems more difficult because there are a lot of fighting styles that vary from enemy to enemy.

Dont worry man, somebody already posted the same thing. Mine was a glitchy gold too, while the screenshot posted, he was metallic purple. LOL.

Definitely a glitch though. Im pretty sure Chair's already aware of it.

Try as I might to defeat Thane he was just way too powerful, I tried going back to the hideout but the option was grayed out so I restarted my awakening annnnnnd I started the game all over from the prelude, niiice!

When you restart your awakening, you skill keep everything the same - your skills, weapons already upgraded, gold, etc., but the enemies are not quite as powerful at first - so its a help, not a hindrance.

I know. ;) but I just feel soooo frustrated that I have to start all over again even with kept stats and loots. I hope CHAIR fixes this bug ASAP! Luckily I enjoy grinding, though.

IB3 looks great on my iPad 4, the only problem it has is a loading issue, however that issue isn't isolated to the iPad 4.

Here's the Isa glitch I was talking about. You have a big Isa in the first layer (behind the gate) and another Isa at the back :D

Are the processes to get spectrum gems the same as IB2? I've been saving up defense gems :p

Warning! Incoming negative opinion! Beat it once and... yeah, probably won't be going through it again. I want to love the game, really, I do - I think the art direction is stunning, I think few games convey the sense of weight and power behind melee combat like IB does, I like the world, I like the story - I bought both tie-in novels - even if the plot's basically a knockoff of this (probably unintentionally, but still :p )...

And yet I can't stand the see-sawing difficulty curve, where I tear through the enemies until I meet the one guy who ramps up, then I have to grind until I can afford a weapon to finish him off in a couple of swings, then repeat ad infinitum. I shouldn't have to be tweaking the difficulty by myself all the time - if I'm meant to rip through everything like paper, why am I even playing, and if every fight's meant to be a five minute test of my reflexes where one hit kills me then why aren't you all praising Blood & Glory as the greatest game ever made?

I can't stand the way every boss uses that same bloody stupid "fighting style" where they spend five seconds or more waving their arms around to confuse you, then when they swing it looks like they're walking through quicksand, and I can't do anything about it except stand there twiddling my thumbs. I can't stand the way out of the five million swords 90%+ of them are pointless if you just want to, y'know, finish the game, get to the finale of the epic quest Chair are billing it as, rather than just play it as a collectathon.

I can't stand the way Chair nigh-on ruin the story with the incompetent way they end up telling it - no wonder reviews call it garbled high fantasy nonsense when most of the good stuff is just in the books and never even touched on in the game, and John Noble's absolutely wasted as the Worker. The intro's pretty, but it's a terrible piece of scene-setting, and they couldn't even put in one extra line of dialogue during play to show you've already tried a fight once and failed? Acknowledge the gimmick that drives their entire god damned game?

It's a technical and artistic triumph, no doubt about that - I never saw any bugs and apart from stuttering audio at the hideout and a few untidy bits of self-shadowing I'm in awe of how good it looks on my iPod. I don't begrudge having paid full price and I'm grateful I got to play it through once. But I just... as far as I'm concerned it's not the epic RPG or the future of touchscreen gaming everyone seems to be painting it as. I never thought I'd have any sympathy for the "LOL IS NOT PROPER GAME IS LIKE SILLY GAME FOR CASUALS" crowd, but far too often IB III is nothing more than Cow Clicker with sword fighting. :(

i think it's the same as IB I & II, the boss fights were particularly hard. when you couldn't get through, get reborn and build up your character. now they've added the upgrade system, which i really like. but they really should have fixed all the major bugs
