I'm into the IB saga and bought it without doubt. I've played all the games and read all the books. I'm enjoying this one as much as the others. If you're into the IB saga, I recommend you buy it to get all the story together. If you've never played IB before, you might want to begin from IB1 and wait for this one to drop price... EDIT: Just checked the prices of IB1 and IB2 and they aren't low either. They're at premium price atm.
Damn, it's looping the sword icon during the initial boot up screens and it won't get past it! Restarted the Ipod AND reinstalled the game as well. . using an iPod touch 5th Gen.
That looping sword animation IS THE LOADING SCREEN. They shouldve been more clear on that. Initial load every startup takes a while... About 15-20 seconds on my ipad mini. Just wait for it to finish and load the game up.
That's normal, wait it out, once I had to wait for 25 seconds, I have read that the loading screen is when the game is connecting to CHAIR's server and it takes a while, I played this offline and loading was fast. I have a 5th Gen iPod as well.
I have to admit, this is getting hard. Challenging and fun, the new attack patterns are so much more diverse. Freaking lady boss keeps killing me. Not used to Isa jumping
Is there any way to dodge or block the enemies kicks? I take so much damage from them because I can't seem to parry, block or dodge them at all.
kicks have different ways to counter. The side kicks where can't dodge left or right you need to jump up or duck down, or otherwise block.
Good Game, heats up my iphone 5 too often and parry is sometimes off (which can be extremely annoying) but other than that good game
Anybody... Played this same act 1 over and over again. I can just quit and restart at the hideout, but with only the same mission to replay over and over.....
Anyone else having trouble with the cloud? My characters just randomly vanished and it completely restarted my game from the beginning!
I wish we had full control over graphics option... I can go without depth of field if it meant I could put on anti-aliasing. I mean other games give you the options, just not the good lookin ones.
Yeah. . But still would be cool to have the Alien gun, would be fun to have a FPS game like this with awesome looking bosses... Dead Trigger 2?
Game Impressions I played the original Infinity Blade but could never manage to beat the God-King on OG. After purchasing the Infinity Blade and unlocking the dungeons with the extra Deathless, did I finally give up on the game. I just couldn't tell where the hell to dodge/block. I played Infinity Blade 2 up until the first boss. I forget her name off the top of my head. Sadyhi or something? It was just too damn hard because the attacks came faster then my swipes and taps would register. It didn't exactly help that it was hard to tell what direction/how an attack was coming until I got hit. After playing about half an hour of Infinity Blade 3, I am eager to play more. Other then the boss fights with their crazy combos (using their legs and swinging their weapon at me in fancy patterns), the game itself feels easier compared to its 2 prequels. It's nice playing as Isa, but I wish Chair could have extended the scope of the game by allowing us, the players, to decide who we'd rather send on any specific mission. I don't want some stupid script that forces me to only use isa, or siris for any specific mission. I love how Chair gives us incentives to leveling up other stats besides attack. And I love how Isa always attempts to sneak up against an enemy before attacking, but I feel as though the brilliant concept was horribly executed. The stealthing she does is rendered obsolete because she always engages in combat when she's close enough. How about some kind of minigame, where if you screw up, your stealth breaks, you're found out, thus you have no choice but to fight? I'm definitely looking forward to all the expansions!
