Is there a way to access the map from the book inside the game? If not, how would the game know to trigger something for you if it's based on you having that map? Speaking of the hideout, keep clicking on things when you go back there. There seem to be a few potion ingredients here and there when I get back there.
Well, finally got to play it for a bit, really nice graphics, haven't gotten anywhere yet, but looks really nice.
Did IB and IB2 get additional content with updates? This game seems unfinished, the game is extremely short for its price and there is absolutely nothing after story mode. Just more grinding for better gear, so you can play the same thing over and over again. Am I wrong about this? And anyone know what the maps do?
Imudd, your question has been answered a couple times in this thread, probably even on the same page - if not, not too far back.
Just had a game ending bug. Maybe 3/4 of the way through it erased all my achievements. The next time I reloaded, it started me at the beginning of the game. Now it just hangs at the end of the first castle. I'm tempted to wait for a patch before loading it up again. Aside from that, I was actually enjoying it.
Anything new in terms of gameplay? I'm extremely bored with the dodge, parry, block then strike routine.
Never played IB or IB2, but all i can say i IB3's gameplay is quiet short, story was also disappointing. It was fun and graphics are nice, but for $7, there is no content after storymode.
Your iDevice is outdated and this game is pushing it to the limit of what it can manage without burning up. Expect nothing less than operational issues.
If his device is listed as compatible, he has a right to a reasonably operational product as advertised.
Yes. It's called Game+. Every time you beat the game, you start again against much harder adversaries. You keep all your gear and money. I haven't finished IBIII yet, but in the previous games it got significantly harder second and third time around. It's also probably the only way to get the best arnor and weapons in the game. It's designed that way, and believe me, if it follows the trend of the previous games, if you found it easy the first time round, that won't be the case in a +Game
I don't know yet if it's bigger or not after a couple of hours, and I struggle to see how anyone can judge the length of the game after that short amount of time...
I actually found the game pretty hard since I never played IB or IB2. But since the story is pretty short I finished the game in two mini marathon. But my problem is that most other games that have game+ adds new elements to the game, (boss, dungeon, area, etc). It just feels extremely boring doing the exact thing over again with nothing to look forward to.
It's very hard to take you seriously when it's so obvious you're simply not telling the truth. This game definitely has much, much more than an hour of gameplay. I haven't had much time to play outside of a couple of hours following the release, but stating that IBII is four times bigger, also sounds like a load of bull, pardon me for saying so.
In the previous games, the characters you fight gets new moves every time around, so the challenge increases and it's great to try and keep up with them with your skill. Also, to me the RPG element of getting better gear and now also new skills yourself is a big motivation for replay the game. Yes, the story, bosses and dungeons are the same, but that's only one part of the game, and not the most important part. As in any other game, gameplay is king, and this series got that in spades.
