I'll emphasize on the mediocre there, pal. This is especially true since you get moderately high-tier weapons pretty easily by the time you get to Act II-III, and incredibly easily get the best armor and weapons if you farm the very last act over and over again.
I recently had to delete IBIII to regain storage, and upon reinstalling the game, I seem to have lost all character data. Is anyone familiar with the specifics of restoring progress from Chair's cloud? Does it simply take lots and lots of time? (Ironic how Chair migrated from iCloud to their own cloud backend to resolve sync issues, causing me the loss of data I never experienced in IBII, where cloud sync worked flawlessly )
Try deleting and reinstalling again. You shouldn't need to touch anything in order to retrieve your save data. Don't touch the update ticket number option. Also, IB2's cloud was never flawlessly. They needed a lot of updates to fix it. Lots of people, me included, lost more than one save data.
I'll do that. Thanks. Of that I am well aware. It worked flawlessly for me, hence "causing me the loss of data I never experienced in IBII" I must say, though, that with all the reports of data loss in IBII, the new solution doesn't seem any more reliable than the old. But probably not less, either
No prob. If it doesn't work you may want to ask in their official forums. The problem IB2 had didn't have anything to do with Apple's servers but with iCloud's implementation itself. The Batman Arkham City Lockdown game had a very simple iCloud implementation: save and load options, nothing more, nothing else, and I never had a problem with that. So I don't understand why they chose to just forget about iCloud and make their own cloud system. It would make sense if IB3 was also available on Android, kinda like Shadowgun: Deadzone, but it isn't.
Yeah. I find it strange how some developers (such as Foursaken) have such flawless success with iCloud (whether through skill or luck), and some never seem to find a working implementation.
I was, but now I'm starting to doubt my recollection. That would explain the data loss. If that is the case, that would beg the question: do I do it all over again? (In a way, I kinda felt like a cheat after receiving the massive christmas money and chip gifts a while back. Once I've made it past my previous point in the story/progression, I'll probably enjoy the game more than ever, without all those extra resources. But the way there is looong and winding...)
I just received a notification about a special gem that's available only for 24h or something like that.
I couldn't find it in the IB forums and the Spanish translation doesn't make any sense. Also, they just added an option in the customize menu to buy a 3D printed statue of your character.
That reminds me. What's up with that chest anyway? Is it meant for random stuff Chair sends us? Coz most of the time it's empty.
Wait... What chest? LOL... Has it been so long that i dont know much about IB3 already? EDIT: NVM... saw the chest. Empty. LOL.
Yeah that chest. Between gem cutter and training bot. It's usually empty. Just once in a blue moon there's items in there.
Just looted a great parry all gem from the chest on the patio outside the unused house. Question, what's the gem do?
You know that timing you get when parrying labelled Great Parry? With that same timing, you can parry ALL attacks including shield bashes, kicks, and punches as long as you have that gem equipped.
