Well, I didn't buy it at 99c and I don't know if I'll even pick it up for free. I got bored of the first one fairly quickly, as beneath the amazing graphics I found the rest of the experience fairly shallow and repetetive. I've only got 16GB on my iPhone, so not sure that making space for this is worth it.
My vision of hell is where all games are free to play but with a pay wall at the first level you could grind for weeks earning a tiny amount of currency or you just have to give in and buy the currency. Burn free to play games burn
Free in NZ is a generally a sign the game will be free for the rest of us the next day. Sales and discounts are often based on date and it's already Monday in NZ.
I passed on it at a dollar simply because I bought the first one and never felt the urge to play it. Good game or not, I'm not buying games that I don't know if I'll actually play them anymore. For free, I'll lock in a license.
Looks like this will finally hit the U.S. at 11 EST tonight. Strange that they're putting IB II on for free but the first one will be on sale for $2.99. Does kind of make you wonder if there will be some surprise announcement related to Infinity Blade soon.
Maybe the Xcom/KOTOR success made them realize that iOS gamers are willing to spend money on games at a premium level(as long as the quality is good).. The reason why IBD is put to the gutter is due their greedy asses and trying to be the next clash of clans...I also mourn the loss of impossible studios..We lost a very talented group of devs for the platform..
It's free now. Right on schedule. If you don't know how it works, times deals and new releases come out at 11est/10cst... Etc. make a mental note please.
Not only those three big title gone free, two popular app is now free too.. Over a typographic app and Day One a good journal app.
