Same thing happened to me with the davidian thingy - already said it was claimed but no new item in inventory...I guess this is some kind of a bug? I thought every time clashmob event started there'll be a notification...missed the collect bag event (which is succeeded) ;_; ((I just happened to find and joined toucharcade forum just because of this IB2 Clashmob^^ Nice to meet you all )) --- That's weird, I've tried same attempt and I have my character back. But at first, my character slot was empty...after several minutes of confusion, suddenly all my character slot is back! Maybe they're still downloading from the icloud?
Could anyone help me please, I press the 'Log In' button for Facebook after pressing the 'Clash Mob' button, but nothing happens. I makes a noise and the button responds to me pressing it, but then nothing happens. I can't log in to Facebook via the options menu either. I've hard-reset my device, reinstalled, but still the same problem Anyone else having this issue? Thanks a lot.
I've discovered another terrible 1.1 bug. Last night I decided to finish the NG+ so I could master my items again and get to level 200. So I went threw the end, Spoiler killing the God King and all that . But when the game started in NG^3 my weapons are all still mastered and I can't level them anymore. So basically by finishing the game I lost all my equipment and now even if I buy everything again I can't get any experience for it. Infinity Blade 2 is buggy and very poorly tested.
I was thinking about getting the game, but it requires Facebook now? Is this true? I looked on the App Store and didn't see anything about Facebook but it did use the "social" word. If it requires Facebook I do not want to waste my money on it.
In relation to the davidian helmet claim problem, I missed out on it as well, it says already claimed. But I claimed some cash from another one, that I only quickly looked at but I'm sure I saw a countdown timer of time left to claim prize. It was in the same place as the timer for time left in clashmob. So maybe on the shorter mobs, you have to claim the prize quickly.
Got $25,000 from the cash grab mob. As someone who isn't too deep yet into IB2, that helped ALOT. Got me a sword that's making my current single player battles a whole lot easier (not a cake walk, but definately easier). BTW, I hate hearing that people are experiencing other bugs. It was a huge PiTA to do this update so not looking forward to having to update again.
wow that explains everything, so we have to check routinely for the clashmob..nice try, epic games. Wait a minute - checked my clashmob stats and on "victory" tab there was nothing -- even though the "Loss" tab still showing some past events. Does the davidian event missing? anyone experienced this too? Btw feel free to add my GC - nickname is hyuei
Wow... Just... Wow. Epic just expects everyone to not have jobs or school, or not have a family or a life. That they can take out their iphones, ipads, and ipod touches anytime during the day (or night) and claim the prize. Perfect, Epic. I personally think it's retarded... But alas, you know better.
Yeah, I gotta say this is pretty shady on Epic/Chair's part. I mean WTF. No one has the ability to check IB2 24/7 to "claim" their prize.
Just in relation to this earlier about the davidian helmet, it only comes up as 11% complete but surely it should be 100% if it was an actual mob win. So it could be a glitch somewhere. In relation to the countdown timer to claim a prize, which has gotten a fair bit of backlash, there is a timer to complete clashmobs in the first place so having a timer to claim prizes is not unnatural considering what they want is to keep you coming back to the game. Some clashmobs have different durations to complete as well, so anyone criticising a claim clock is saying there should be no timer at all? The time element is an integral part of its design so I personally think a timer for both the clashmobs and the prize claiming is perfectly acceptable. Bear in mind an iPhone or iPod touch are by their very nature portable devices that most people have with them at all times, so taking an iPhone out to check on clashmobs or to claim your prize is surely part of that portability. Also, it is clashmobs "beta", so there is bound to be glitches along the way to getting it fully right. I for one am glad it is in the game at all and it has made the whole thing far more interesting. Even decided I want to get from level 65 on original game and 63 on new game +, to around 100 somewhere on both. So it reignited my interest in a great game. And just to clarify the claiming prize countdown timer, I had a very quick look when claiming the prize, so it is possible that I made a mistake about the clock. I dont think I did, but it is possible. Going to double check once the next challenge is won and see if there is a clock there as well.
A timer to claim prizes is "okay" but it should be something like 12 or 24 hours minimum. I'm sorry but MANY people only play via wifi and no matter how portable your device is, you don't always have access to wifi. So if a timer is even an hour or two to claim a prize, I think it's unjustly unfair and should justify a backlash. I understand that you can't keep it infinite as you want to roll each contest off the system. But anything shorter than a 12 hour timeframe when people do have to work, etc., is not acceptable. And definately will impact my participation in the clash mobs if this is the way it's going to work.
I agree it should have a 12-24 hr timer because we have jobs, families, lives! I had no idea there was a timer, so that explains why I have no helmet Speaking of which, Clash of the Titan ends in 44 minutes
Very fair point. I do understand what you mean and I'm not here to disagree with anyone, I just wanted to throw in a bit of balancing. I think a claim time of about 12 to 24 hours would certainly be fair. An amount of time that takes into account the different time zones of players worldwide is obviously a necessity. I have no doubt considering its beta and this sites forum is very prominent and influential that someone from Chair is keeping an eye on it and hopefully taking everyone's point into consideration.
Finally got around to playing Clash Mobs, so far I have 57 in my group, that's not too bad. I'm sure Chair will tweak this a bit because it is Beta, but it's a really cool feature, new environments, new creatures. Extremely fun to claim rewards, and see how good of a player you are. I'm also a collection junkie so this adds to my addiction. All in all, Chair does it again with cool features in already a perfect game.
