Dead space- move finger on screen tap screen, move finger again. Repeat for 4 hours. Zombieville. Move character. Tap screen. Repeat for 10 hours. Are they good games? Yes, and I love both of them. But by those standards, any game is boring. What game do you consider great doesn't involve tapping and swiping? That's all gameplay is, pushing buttons...
So has COD:zombies and many others and none of them needed that amount of hype to remain there. Anyway, I'm not hating. I enjoyed ib 1 a little bit before I got tired of the wash rinse and repeat formula. Just stating the obvious fact!
Many others? Which ones that cost more than 99 cents? I don't seem to remember many.... And that "obvious fact" is an opinion. Don't want to rage on you, but isn't hype for pre-game? And after the game is released, after a year, if it's still selling well, doesn't that mean that people enjoy it? And that it's selling on its own merits and not some hype that vanished 6 months ago?
Would I ever want to play Infinity Blade 1 after getting this? I need the space, but I'm wary of deleting it in case I ever want to play it again... Dx
If you got this, there's no reason to keep IBi. IBii is pretty much superior in every way, while keeping true to the same formula. As long as it runs fine on your device.
If I were to keep IB, it would only be for the multiplayer. Which I don't play. So I think most people would be safe deleting it, especially since your save doesn't actually affect the multiplayer.
I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5 and infinity blade works perfectly for me. I Will download IB2 in an hour.
Part 4: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Note: The video may not appear at the time of this post, because it's still processing, but I really need to go to bed now. I will most likely stop this playthrough (wich it isn't then) here, because I don't want to play the whole game on camera. (Chair, how hard is it to add multiple save slots??)
Ipod Touch 4 appears to have no problems (check Der-Kleine's videos). So far, the only device with slowdown is the iPhone 4 (and possibly the iPad)
Managed to see a few dark seconds of something, it was quite laggy, then crashed. I think my iPad is trying to load the iPad 2 version. Redownloading. Incredibly disappointed so far.
