Okay guys, in case you have not figured this out, IN NEW GAME+, REATART TO REBIRTH 1! I did this so now it is like playing the game all over again, except I am level 40 and the enimeis are level 1. It makes things alot easier. Also, this may not work on the iPod, as I am playing on the iPad 2.
Ah that makes sense, I wonder if the woman character is going to hunt down and kill the worker, maybe that will be in the first content update
What I wonder about the woman is if she will turn out to be a deathless too. If not, how the hell is she going to rescue Siris?
She must be, also she killed Siris at the start of the game so she obviously knew he was too, maybe there is more to their past that they will reveal
The book, Awakening is almost exclusively about Isa and Siris, how they meet, what their goals are etc. Spoilers below from the book: Spoiler The book does seem to confirm that she IS NOT a deathless as she is unable to use the magic rings that only deathless can use. It is hinted at that she knew what Siris was before she "killed" him. And the book ends with Siris in the rebirth chamber with Isa, so yes she definitely knew at that point, but that was after "killing" Siris after he defeats Sayhdi.
I think her name is Isaline, its only mentioned on one page of the book. It would be interesting if she turns out to be deathless, Spoiler it would explain how she just "happened" to find a rebirth chamber and know exactly what it was. Plus it would explain her coming after Siris after roughly 10 years of him trying to free the worker. For a deathless that would seem like mere days.
You are correct that her name is Isaline. And her name was mentioned only once like you said. Page 151 if reading on an iPhone/iPod Touch... Anyways, Spoiler She didn't just happen to find the rebirth chamber randomly. Also, she suspected that Siris was a deathless after some things happened. By the way, I think you might be right about the second last point. Or second last sentence. It would take Siris at least 2 years if we follow the "6 Months Later", although there is the 2 years later. And the time it took, waiting for Raidriar. And the time it took to bring Raidriar with him... hmm.
Spoiler I've just re-read the last chapter. She took him to a rebirth chamber she previously found in the mountains. Also as 0-FeliX-0 says, timelines could be much less. I reckon 5 years could be feasible, which doesn't seem too bad even for a human. There are clear signs that Isa developed strong feelings for Siris (and likewise). At the end, in the rebirth chamber she seems almost hurt to confirm that he truly is a deathless. She obviously had suspicions before (his skills beyond human capabilities, his use of rings and the blade), but this was the confirmation. Could it be that she tries to save him simply because she cares for him? Also when she "killed" Siris, she did so knowing that it would ultimately save him - after all if the God King killed him with the Infinity Blade, he would truly have died! The God King himself wonders about this - was the arrow meant for himself or did the assassin really target Siris, knowing it would ultimately save him? Finally what puzzles me about Isa is why she wanted the Infinity Blade and who she may have been working for?
