Yeah the savegame bug seems to be a pretty nasty one and obviously not easy to fix! Chair would have done so, if it was. So yeah....IB2 is pretty unplayable right now unless you don“t mind having your progress erased all of a sudden.
So Chair has been unable to defeat the invincible monster known as iOS 5.0.1. Apparently even clash mobs won't help them destroy it this is a bit confusing. we've talked about the wheels many pages back the getting the exact item you want is still really tough. i think i've only been able to get the exact one twice but most of the time i can usually land the spinner in the area i want it, just not on the item. i can't seem to figure out how far it spins with what amount of force =\
It took me like 15 rebirths but I finally finished the game. I'm looking forward to playing with Isa, if that's what the content update brings, because of the new weapon styles it might add. She seems to carry a staff in the same way other women enemies carry it in the game. Also, I'm guessing there would be new bosses as Spoiler the new leader would be the Worker of Secrets and he'd have new friends instead of the old ones
Is there any news on when the new updates are due out? I'm looking forward to clash mobs and new content.
i'm thinking they're too busy trying to fix the bugs that they're not gonna do that for a while at least. people would be upset if they released anything without fixing the major problems first. ---- btw, i think i'm realizing that even with the rare wheel, some items are still UNATTAINABLE. they must only be available in the NG+. Probably any of the special robot armor... i've spun the wheel 50-100 times literally, never got any of the set (no helm, armor, shield or ring). there's also some weapons that i'll never land on, some which look very cool > : ( this is not fair at all. and one item i absolutely hate is "the sacrifice". i've gotten that item probably a total of 25+ times on the rare wheel. i think they're implying that i'm "sacrificing" my money for nothing
Heh, yes, it certainly wasn't a reliable skill So yeah, perhaps for the user base as a whole (the normative, less masochistic players), more accessible parries is a good thing. Still miss the satisfaction of winning an entire battle against a high-level opponent through parrying alone, though. Yeah, yer very right about the attack patterns of enemies. IB2 does this far better, and faaar more fun, with a stronger focus on reflexes and precision, and less on mental notetaking. But that's actually one of the reasons I miss the old parry mechanics. With the new enemy behaviour, the old parrying system would be a greater challenge than ever before, and more rewarding than ever As you say, before, you knew the direction so all you had to do was time the swipes. Now, it would truly require exceptional skill to parry the new, unpredictable attacks from high-level opponents. (Perhaps a "Parry aid" option could have been made available, to allow for both systems, but with greater daze/attack windows when using the old.) iCloud on, all is well, so far. Oh, I cannot know that. But before, the game simply did not save my progress at all. Between every relaunch, all my saves were reset. Now, I've been playing for a week with no wipes, so I'd say it is most certainly an improvement
I've been looking on the IB forums, and some people have gotten those rare things in the rare wheel. But I remember missing the helm Siris has at the start of IB, which was my favorite helm. But that was in the Prize Wheel. I bought it afterwards, anyway.
iPod Touch 4G vs iPad 2 Comparison I had a chance to play IBII on my iPod Touch 4G and my son's iPad 2 and was amazed by a few things. Obviously, the visuals are a pretty drastic improvement. Shadows, lighting and detail is great on the iPod Touch, but the are striking on the iPad 2. Little things like light rays, self shadowing, even noticed that there is water coming from the fountain in the courtyard of the "castle". Another thing that amazed me is that the game loads up in a matter of seconds on the iPad 2. On my iPod Touch, it feels like it takes a minute or two to even get into the game. Given the right hardware, I can now see why some people are gushing about the game while others are just a little luke warm to the improvements from the original IB.
Dont know if this was already posted, but I tried to give myself some sort of an assurance that my game won't get deleted. I did this by making a new character, and loading it up before I exit the game. Therefore, if the game decides to delete my progress, it would delete the dummy one I loaded up before quitting the game. Not sure if this works though, but so far, so good. I wish I somehow thought of this before the game deleted my first save, haha.
If yer hit by the old save bug, it will not help. It resets all saves. You can access your iDevice's app directory, however, with the help of a tool like iExplorer, and manually backup your saves. Once the device is mounted, open the Apps directory, scroll down to InfinityBlade2, open the Documents directory, and copy the SAVE folder to your computer (end then proceed to upload it to whatever cloud-based storage solution gets you hard or wet).
Thats so gay. After u beat new game+ it takes away all ur gear agian. Wats the point in playing anymore
I'm on rebirth 40, level 62 full gear mastered with epic gems. Right now I'm just waiting for the update so I can play more. This is definitely the best looking game on the iOS and can't wait until they release the 3rd one (based on the story there's gotta be a 3rd)!! I really like how they added 2H and dual weapons. I'm not as good with the 2H as I am with the standard sword/shield combo but I do fancy the epic combos with dual weapons. I mastered the Gelder's with gems in them but they don't do nearly as much damage as my mastered IB with 98def shield combo.
Are you sure? Because my main level 52 rebirth 22 save was deleted, but my new game plus save was not. And it happened when i tried to update.
I doubt anyone knows 100% how the save bug works. I'd still recommend backing up via iExplorer or iFunBox.
Okay, I just figured out 2 things that will really help. The fist thing is in the tutorial, you will add a gem to the infinity blade. It costs about 28,000 to remove the gem, but it gives 100 water and is worth about 98,000, so it is definitely worth it. The second thing is in New Game+, you can just restart to rebirth 1, so the enimies aren't as powerful anymore.
But you'd have to buy gold to remove the gem... right? In the shop, I saw an Ice Gem with 133, but I was 100,000.
Is the iPad 2 displaying the graphics correctly? I feel like some lighting effects are not there such as sun rays and stuff.
Hey question, does anyone know what has the strongest base attack for the DUAL HAND weapons? I have 2-3 more hidden ones so I'm not sure if they're one of them. Obviously I want to save my best gems for the best weapons lol
It is either the last one unlocked or the Poisen sythe, but I don't know if that is a dual weapon or not. Besides, you do know that you can remove gems right?
