I must say, now that I can finally play the game without loosing my progress, that the parry system is far too lenient now. I enjoyed it much more in IB1, where parrying was damn near always a challenge. I'd rather have seen them keep the old difficulty, and reward us with greater daze/attack windows for parries.

And I will also say that while I don't mind much the lack of income from selling items, I do mind that all mastered items clutter upp my inventory, eventually making the "Inventory" filter rather pointless. So, if they, for some balance reasons not clear to us, don't want us to be able to sell stuff, then at least allow us to drop them/hide them in the inventory panel.

Other than that, the game runs well on my iPhone 4, slightly better than IB1, and while I'm not sure it looks better, at least it still looks stunning.

I'm glad the parry is easier now. I could never parry with consistency in IB1 and now I have to due to the exhaustion if I only dodge.

I deleted enough stuff to install it on my iPad. It crashes at the title screen too. Is it because of the cloud save then? I didn't want to loose my save game.

Ayjona, did you have to turn off iCloud to prevent losing your save, or is it fine even with iCloud on?

    Exactly.

I'm almost to a point where I wanna delete the game off my phone, because it seems after every "update" the game isn't actually any more playable. It's like they're feeding us "lower-end" device users placebos. I know they worked hard on adding new effects, but...

I got it to work on the iPad and iPhone 4. I had to delete the cloud saves and lost my game. This really sucks.

Glad about iCloud saves - this was always an issue with the first game.

In the first game, you could get away with memorizing all the characters moves, so parrying could be more difficult. Here, with 50+ enemies, that's near impossible. So I'm glad parrying is more lenient, because even though it's easier, the game is still a challenge (for me atleast). I feel like its less memorization now and more reaction, which is how it should be. Last few times playing IB1 I felt like I knew every move the enemy was going to make before they made it, so all I had to do was time my swipes.

People are still loosing their savegame even with this new patch. So I won´t be playing this unfinished piece of software! I even deleted the whole game from my iPod, it´s just not worth it and definately not game of the week or iOS game of the year or a masterpiece, just a buggy mess.

yeah i agree. it's more fun to test your gameplay skills than memory skills. and you're right on about IB one, it was hard because you had to remember which attack was where and also hit at the perfect moment.

the game will still be challenging as the enemies level up, dealing more damage and attacking faster (and more non-parry attacks)

I know this is a late reply, but what is the incentive to start a new game + and lose all of your gear?

  18. The game gets (significantly) more challenging and you can master your items all over again (i.e. level up more). Don't bother going into it if you haven't invested many points in attack.

i finally unlocked all the items lol i saved up 4million gold & spent it all on the prize wheel i also found a little trick with the prize wheel also ,ok basically dont expect to get anything great out of the regular prize wheel trust me ive tried many many times even though you might see rare items in it you will never land on them, now the big prize wheel you can expect regular to good items only never anything really good or rare ,but thats where the rare prize wheel comes into the pitcure for some reason you wont always recieve rare items from the rare wheel which is kinda bad having to spend 125,000gold just to get good or even sometimes regular stuff ,but the rare wheel is the only wheel that will give rare items

The trick i found with the wheel is if you like you can slowly scan the wheel before you spin it just to see what is being offered ,this trick works best in the rare wheel but i would slowly scan the wheel then stop on the item that i was trying to get then i would do a easy slow spin & land exactly back on the item that i started the spin with ,this trick doesnt work with the regular wheel cause you cant land on a good or rare prize but it sometimes works with the big wheel & works really good with the rare wheel ,but remember you cannot spin the wheel to hard & dont spin it to slow cause then it wont count just start on the item you want & do a nice slow-medium spin basically try to get the wheel to do a full spin back on the same item .....think of it like(price is right)

anyone have ?s about the locked items just ask also sorry for the bad writing im in a rush
