Does anyone know if we'll get anything special if we don't have any save data? Because I don't want to have lost it all 4 times and be receiving nothing. Y'know, because you guys are all getting prize wheel's and keys and stuff.
careful?? did you find a trick to getting exactly what you want? i just did the money trick for hours and spun the wheel until i got what i wanted. i lost so much money... maybe millions
I felt the same way! However, I started the game up 3 times and deleted it from the multitasking bar 3 times, and my saved files were still there!!! also, I think the free stuff was Chair's way of saying sorry to all the people who lost their data previously- like me! Thanks Chair!
Well, it's just that I deleted my IB2 cloud saves... so... hmm. And I don't really have any proof except my word that I lost my data.
Yup this patch does not fix the saved game issue... few ppl have lost their saved game after/during the patch...
I'm guessing "do tiny spins that don't count until the item you want is far enough away, then spin just right to get it".
He doesn't say the game deleted his iCloud saves, he says he did so. I haven't experienced any issues so far with 1.0.2, but this doesn't mean everything is fixed. We'll have to wait and see.
Game is still framey on my iPhone 4. I'm gonna go so far as to say everybody playing this on anything but a 4S or iPad 2 is getting a raw deal. Of course, we knew this going in, but still. Can't wait for iPhone 5/iPad 3.
Did the new update fix the save game bug on iPod Touch 4G? And if I don't have enough space on iPod, can I get it by syncing the updated version?
Why not just disable icloud? I never had any savegame problems since i gotten this game when it first came out. Works wonders lol
Yeah, but I use iCloud for game datas. Well if I finish this first then I can remove and use iCloud again. Yeah, I'll do that.
Well, it seems that for me too, the save game problems have been resolved with this patch. However, I'll suspend my final comment until I've played for a while. At least once before, I retained my save game for one relaunch, but lost it upon the second. When I still had the progress save bug, disabling iCloud did nothing to help. The save bug is a local phenomenon, as well as an iCloud issue.
It's more playable now on the iPhone 4 but performance is still pretty shitty. Got back into Shadowgun, game is even more impressive now in light of IB2's poor framerate. Graphics are in the same league, environments are bigger and have normal free roaming, you often encounter lots of enemies at the same time, all of which have a level of detail and shader stuff going on that is comparable with the enemies in IB2, lighting is more dynamic and all of this with a very high and absolutely rock solid framerate. cHair/Epic needs to step up their game.
