thanks for clearing that up. now i don't have to worry about losing all my progress in the original file. i'll probably try out NG+ and if i dont like it, go back to the original game. i do hope the original game works like the past IB1 where just finishing the game increases some enemy levels and the boss level but nothing too crazy like it sounds in NG+
I am at rebirth 9 (having had to go back 1 rebirth a few times as it was getting too difficult). I still haven't been able to kill the big dog-robot enemy, nor the demon. Any advice on killing those two? BTW very nice when the tree grew and I could go to a new location for a fight
Anyone else no longer want to keep playing IB2 because of New+? I think IB2 is definitely a better and more fun game than the first one, but once I was able to do New+, it has made me lose interest in continuing. I hate how it stars you off. You get the weakest items and no money, so once you beat some enemies to level up your armor, ring, and weapon, you don't have much money to get the next weapon and stuff to keep leveling up. And the money you find is like 50, 35, etc. I have to keep repeating the rebirth to try to get enough money to level up, cause I can't continue the fights and have no health potion and way too far off to level up and no money to buy items so I can level up. It's like you're almost forced to buy money through IAP to continue New+ or keep rebirthing until you very slowly get enough money to continue. I would keep playing my original game, but the thought of the original game not having all the weapons and armor and rings as in New+ makes me not want to continue the original one as one of the biggest reasons to keep playing it unlocking and leveling up everything and I'm put off by continuing my New+ game because of the reasons above. I would love to keep playing cause I think this really is a better game than the first Infinity Blade, but the way they did this New+ thing is kind of disappointing. Should have left me some extra money or something to continue fighting the higher level enemies.
i haven't gotten as far as you but i can see what you mean. it's always possible that with a lot of complaints they'll change it. i wouldn't lose hope yet. to be honest, if i were you i'd just keep going through the original file. after all, there's only some new items in NG+ right? no one will tell me what it is so i'm assuming they're not too substantial. however i don't know for sure
I share the pain with you. And I can also tell you in NG+4 even infinity blade itself is not good enough to beat the enemy because the monsters are above level 200. I end up with using two hand weapon with 1500 damage, but still feel difficult. I am afraid Chair should release more powerful weapons or make the items able to improve by itself to handle the enemies.
When I selected "restart rebirth 1" in newgame+, the saving slot returned to what it had looked like before you beat the game (the newgame+ slot just disappeared). I can not get access to the newgame+ anymore, even I beat the game again... such a depressing bug...
Obviously they screwed up the NG+ thing badly... I am glad that I lost interest in this game immediately after killing the KG

1.0.1 still crashes on opening titles Cant play this piece of crap at all. Crashes on opening credits, on my ipad2. 100% crash, even if I quit all backgrounded apps first. Can't play the game, 1.0.1 does not work at all.
Don't waste your time on prize wheel Well, I have done some in app purchase and I have 2525000 gold in my pocket. So I decide to do a test on prize wheel, which costs 7500 gold. The reason is I always see some awesome items in the wheel, some times you even see infinity blade in the loop. However, I'm never ever able to get any decent item from the prize wheel (haven't tested rare prize wheel yet) so the purpose of the test is to see "are you really able to get those elite item or those items are just something to lure you." I have tested 336 times. Spend all the gold on this test, and here is what I have found out: No elite item. (I'm not talking about infinity blade here, simply point to some decent item like "the ancient") But you will get heaps of shitty things. For example: I've got 23 Boron armor, 12 Zeus loop, 11 Thank armor. My understanding is each item should have the same chance in the wheel, but the game seriously get it wrong. As the test result shows, probably you should not spend any money in prize wheel. I know you will say "I get luck this time" when you see infinity blade on the wheel. You can certainly try, but you will find it's a waste at the end.
I got a good helmet (hawken) and weapon (forge) from it. But I've got crappy stuff too. And I really think the keys are a waste of money too, it costs a ton of money for a black key, but the one time I found one, I only got 50k gold out of the chest. The black keys cost upward of 100k
I got forge as well, and I even got Rixyx from the wheel, but it can not be considered as "decent" item. I am looking for something like halfstar or above.
All of you who are still not quite satisfied (in my case, since the game does not save my progress ), perhaps in particular those who are not enjoying New Game+ much, be sure to report this to Chair. They've never given any sign they read these forums. Contact them over Twitter (@ChAIRGAMES and @InfinityBlade), or use their support mail and forums over at http://infinitybladegame.com/. The New Game+ situation sounds unresonable, and I can imagine they will actually do something about it, as long as it reaches their ears.
How in the world can this be up for GOTW in its current state??? Is there a vote for MBFROTY (Most Bug Filled Released Of The Year) because that's the only vote this game deserves right now
Does this run fine on iPod Touch 3G? And those moaning about bugs - ignore them. Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are perfect games, yet filled to the brim with bugs; ignore them and you get a brilliant game.
I don't get it, some people say I can beat the God King and still play without going to NG+, some say I will go to NG+ no matter what after I beat the God King... I left the game just prior to the battle with the God King, what should I do?

A bit more information, in icloud>manage storage>infinity blade 2 on ipad, iphone and using the pc icloud browser I have 8 saves, the largest being swordsaveX_0-0 at 46.7 KB and the smallest being swordsaveslot_6 at 0.3KB. The point is my iphone, ipad and pc browser can see the same save files yet ingame the iphone can't see my main save with all my weapons etc. I'm half tempted to not play at all now until the game has been updated again. Anyone have any ideas how I can get my iphone to pick up on the ipads save correctly again?
You don't have to go to NG+, but your NG+ will be stuck at whatever level you beat him at, so even if you keep playing OG, you'll never get stronger in NG+. Also, even if you rebeat OG, your NG+ won't "sync". And if you reset to Rebirth 1 from NG+, you'll never be able to unlock NG+ again (due to a bug). I'd recommend leveling more first and saving up to reset to glass cannon (all attack) build so that you can survive the first fight in NG+.
