If that is the case, at least I wish they should provide an option after you defeat the god king before you enter the next New game +, like infinity blade 1. At this stage it does not make much meaning for people to collect items in new game + because the storyline is so short.

No, they don't give you the option after defeating the god king and simply send you into the next NG+ once you have activate the NG+ mode.
wow now this is a dilemma. kill the GK then get a screwed up NG+ but you get to see the ending. otherwise you keep playing before the GK and never beat him. sounds pretty sad to just keep playing to game without being able to defeat the last boss 2 equally awful choices. i dont know what to do! does anyone know what new items comes available in NG+? I wonder if it's worth it. and does anyone know if the new GK armor is in the store or blacked out items?

You will not be able to sell your last item. You will be able to sell the item if you have multiple same item at the same time. Consumable items (like keys) are excepted.
New game + I don't know what you people are talking about for the new game +... I beat the game (yes, I killed the GK and saw the cliffhanger). But the next thing I saw was the screen to start a new rebirth. And that was that. All the enemies are stronger but I kept all my money,weapons and level. I'm re-unlocking the pathways to the tower all over again now.
Dude it is just great! I played Infinity Blade 1 for 5 minutes in Areana mode and when I come back to infinity blade 2 my savings are lost. A perfect scenario to free me from New Game+ hell. I am level 1 now. Awesome game, well done!!
Wow... ok. I see what all the fuzz is about now. Had to claw my way out just to beat the very first enemy in the game. Brilliant way to force someone to buy in-game currency. Edit : At least you can still go back to your old slot and remember what it feels like not to suck... Wish I had spent the 100k just before the GK fight to reset my stats to a full glass cannon build. Maybe then I'd have a better chance and this NG+ BS.

Dude...I honestly cant tell if you're being sarcastic or not. But is New Game+ really that bad? On a different subject, I can't wait for the DLC! I wonder how they're going to get Siris out...I honestly dont see Isa beating The Worker and dragging him back to the Vault.
This is so not true, you go to the begiinning of the game as you beat the GK, but you do not go to NG+, you get to keep all your equipment, you just go to the beginning of the game to the oriental themed space, and after you beat the boss and get killed by an arrow in the head you just go to the next rebirth. New Game + becomes available as a new character slot, and you have the option of switching between New Game + and you original game.
I'm confused. I've been playing through mostly on my ipad 2 but sometimes on my 4s, keeping both games synced but last night I completed the game on ipad and now I can't seem to keep the 2 devices synced. On my ipad the game has restarted, I'm on rebirth 19, my character is level 51 but a lot of the doors in the game are locked again. In character slots I have this game plus new game+. On my iphone theres no sign of either of these saves, only level 1 saves with all weapons gone but my stats are mostly high, ie. 4050 health, 501 attack, 99 shield but only 1 for magic. I've restarted the iphone game many times but can't get it to pick up the saves the ipad is displaying. I've even deleted the app and redownloaded but no difference. I'm not sure what to do now, I liked having both devices synced up because of all the stories of lost saves but now I'm affraid to touch it.

BirkusTheGreat ... why is it so hard to understand that you shouldn't give any kind of story spoilers in a main game thread? Note that I've read other people complain about others not having the awareness and decency to put spoilers in tags or post them in a different thread entirely. Luckily I was able to dodge those spoilers just in time as well, hence I am very alert. It puzzles me that people do these things in general discussion threads. Very indecent and unthoughtful in my opinion. Note that my question can be treated as "ignored" if this is not the case, but I am not taking the risk to fully read the sentences you wrote a few posts above me to find out. Hope you understand.
