Is it just me or the god king sucks in this game? I didn't even get hit once by him during my first playthrough... Overall this game is just average. Even Blood & Glory is harder than this game.
I'm so annoyed with whomever ruined the story of the game for me. Seriously lame not to mention I lost all my game progress about 4hours worth of play in and I have to start over a second time because I lost my progress again. I did t realize I shouldn't save it on a different save slot or whatever. This will be the last time I try again or I'll just erase this damn thing.
Sure did. Asked me if it worked. >.> (No, please don't ask. The answer is no.) I. Am. Right. There. With. You. I thought that by saving on a different slot it would help, and seemingly it did. But alas, my game save just recently got r*ped in the face.
Fix the framerate on iPad 2. Skipping scenes and fighting at times is unresponsive and plays like a laggy slideshow. Ive got over 2 GB of space free, with (before playing) fresh reboots of iPad 2. Fix spell casting, make dodging & blocking more responsive - give an option for NG+, I don't want to automatically start over broke and lacking money or items if I beat the game. I'd like to at least carry over $ I earn, so I don't have to have battles take 50 years. Make gold a little easier to earn, or don't raise the prices of things as you level. While you're at it, FIX Infinty Blade 1 for iOS 5. The framerate has also been screwed up and the contrast is blown out. Grr. This game is Just, I expected better. Ps. It does still play like your character has arthritis (laggy and choppy), after the update that arrived prior.
Nothing wrong with the framerate on my iPad 2 (5.0.1). So please don't dumb down the gfx in anyway. Spell casting is definatly not as responsive as it was in IB 1. And definatly needs to be fixed. Let us sell loot. That's part of the fun in finding stuff(!). The save thing obviously needs looking into and should be prio nr 1. Not messing around with iPods and CS kids.
Why would they allow us to *gulp* make money by selling stuff? That means we're less likely to IAP gold, to buy the overpriced loot.
Nothing like reaching level 30, only to have your save data erased. Just excellent. I was rather enjoying this game, but now I can't even bring myself to play it anymore. I even bought some gold, which was also lost. Tragic, as I was really starting to get into the game. And yes, I tried all of the 'fixes', so don't even bother asking. This is a truly game ruining bug. Edit: Almost forgot; I was only playing on one device.
When you check your check your Infinity Blade II documents and data in the iCloud menu, do you still have large (>5 kb) files there? If you do, you still have the save file somewhere up there.
Bought this on day 1 but I been busy killing hordes of zombies. I finally played this tonight, and it runs great on ipad2 with the latest iOS. I think the game is great even though I was a little annoyed they make you parry since you get exhausted from dodging, but parry actually works for me in this game unlike the first one. Still kinda wish they would let you fight with whatever style you want. if I wanna dodge I should be allowed to dodge. That's my only complaint, but if I lose my save game like I read in this thread then this game will get deleted.
Oh wow... So you weren't supposed to beat the Stone Demon? That's why I can't progress past the Behemid... Well that's a fail. Now I have to intentionally lose this battle to restart the bloodline...
Count me amongst the throngs that have had their character reset. I am so beyond pissed right now. I refused to pay real money for game money, so I played this game long enough to get the Infinity Blade back. I got it last night before going to sleep. I just launched the game all excited to kick some Titan arse with the IB, and I get the beginning cut scenes. WTF?! Any word from Chair on this? Spending $7 and four days of time does not sit well with me.
Yeah I can't start another damn game without it being erased now. I know there are fixes in the way and blah blah but really this bug is unnacceptable. I know chair was trying to do something nice for us with these extra save slots and having a save slot for the + version but it's come to the point that I just can't play. So I guess the only masterpiece I can see is this save bug. It sure is a masterful one. There definitely wasn't enough testing done for this release. I tried to love it but it's bugged.
Well, you weren't supposed to do it as early as I did. I thought that not being able to progress past the Behemid was a glitch, but apparently it's because they didn't expect people to be able to beat the Stone Demon on the third rebirth... You're supposed to do something else first, apparently.
