Btw dude, while I agree with your point that the plot is pretty thin, you still just totally blew the ending for everyone who hasn't beaten the game yet. Might wanna put that badboy in some spoiler text.

Mage Gauntlet was awesome. Even if it just a simple throwback to the days of hack n' slash yore with light RPG elements and somewhat strategic hacking and slashing, I absolutely loved those games. Great sense of humour too. The game effin' ruled.
What I like about both Infinity Blades is that the plot is not totally clear. Everything is not spelled out and you make your own theories on why things happen the way they do.
Wondering? 1-Anyone defeat any boss fights using a light weapon? 2- anyone else not getting alot of loot? I'm getting such little loot, that I'm thinking about buying the $4.99 gold iap, the little loot I've had I had to spend on better equipment.

You actually explained why in a intellectual manner why you felt the plot didn't have an substance. That's how I want to converse. To each his own though! I felt the story was entertaining enough, and like I said, I read the book, which brought light to a lot of elements in the story that would seem mundane to the average person who didn't read it. My apologies. You didn't enjoy it, that's fine. Don't see the point though why you would so casually give a s*it to post on a forum dedicated to the game itself, just... complaining the whole time and arguing back and forth about your complaints. *shrugs* I will agree with you, though, that there are a few other games that have come out on the appstore that have a far superior storytelling style, or story alone. I just particularly like this one is all. ^.^ Runs much better man, let's just say it's actually playable without having to do ridiculous steps just to play it. I would caution you though, play from like the second save slot or third (any slot other than the first). I had this bug where it started my character over from on the first slot when I restarted the app. Seems to have no effect on the other save slots though.

OK, even after the patch the game is barely playable in some fights due to the low framerate. The first time the game REALLY slows down is when first entering the tower and fighting against the very first enemy in it. It gets so slow that one cannot swipe with any precision. The game turns into a slideshow. I play on a iPod touch 3G.
for some reason the god king seems weak to me i have defeated him 4 times already ,his moves are very predictable & he is actually kinda slow the eyeless noc & plated guard put up the best fight in my opinion
I have to say you cannot rate a game like it was on another system, many wii games would be said to be crap if it was on playstation 3 or like ds games on a ps3 iOS cannot be compared to huge games on consoles. Handheld yes, remember Pokemon gameboy games they was the same repetitive stuff too. Train a pokemon and engage in countless similar fights. The game now has a story, it's not good because it's a masterpiece on graphics but because it makes you feel more like you have complete control of the fight. If this was on a ps3 it would suck with a controller and that's why you don't review a iOS game like its a console game
Just got a gift card, but I heard bad things about the performance on an iPod and just deleted lots of apps, hopefully not for no reason.
Wow... I started a new game last night. Killed the first boss, started rebirth, went to sleep. Woke up this morning and now it starts all over again. Wtf am I missing?
THAT'S THE ENDING??? Ugh. 2 handed weapons are definitely the way to go, but take some getting used to after the original series sword and board.
Ok read the news on TA front page and it seems another update is on its way, so I might as well wait for it to come.
