At first time I thought this, but then when I fighted a monster that also appears on IB1, I realized that it has less- quality textures and without any lighting effects on skin
I have iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1, it's not even optimized for this correctly. The framerate stutters and is far from smooth - reboot included.
The textures appear to be worse in IB 2, the camera zooms in a bit and you can see the square polygons on armor and enemies - with lots of jaggies too
"load last save"???????????!! I just got killed by a regular mob going right after getting to the courtyard with the dragon slayer statue. The mob killed me and I got the options "load last save" and "last bloadline" What is that all about? I thought this game was in the category of last bastion of games that had some kind of difficulty. I've died of the bosses in the game, like Goliat etc. And then had to restart a new bloodline, as I hoped I would, since I screwed up and got killed. But when I died of this mob I just got to load to before the same fight and now I have infinite chances on trying to beat it. Lost a lot of respect for this game now. Really sad. If you die. You deserve a severe punishment.
Really loving this game on iPod Touch 4G... But I've only played it twice, both due to my fear of losing the save file eventually and also because of the trouble it is to even load the game (multi-task bar trick). Apple, the update had better be approved before the workweek starts again! I want to get in my quality IB2 time.
there a lot more polygons and textures to render on older devices so some sacrifices must be made including less polygons per model and lighting effects
Has anyone tried it tho? Someone said it deleted his NG save and couldnt get it back even after beating OG again.
Yes. It stalled on me a few times and I lost my progress a few times. Haven't had a single issue since I reinstalled. I wonder if downloading it the same time as the rest of the country somehow affected the original file.
It's the same as IB1. If you die on a monster in the castle then you can try again, but if you die on any of the bosses (thane, sentinels, GK) you go to the next Rebirth with harder monsters.
I'm not sayin you'reall wrong, but this game is really a masterpiece, but with its bugs. I have not experienced any technical issues with this game (I'm on iPad1 4.3.1). I haven't experienced any low framerate either, running extremely smooth. I do feel sorry for all of you who are experiencing problems. But please bear with Chair and resort to some of the temporal solutions for now. If you can't rod your bad image of the game, of course you wot enjoy it. With that said, here are some of the good things about the game. The enemies are much tougher. Much much tougher than IB1. Their moves are unpredictable, and all the enemies have many sets of moves. There are also many more kinds of titans now. I especially love the modern robots, some of the coolest stuff I've seen in my entire gamin experience. The campaign is much longer, featuring a real story, voiceacting, cinematic cutscenes, and several boss fights. This is what you can call a campaign. 2 new weapon types! This givEs the game even more variety. I love the swag look when I dual wield weapons. The graphics is around the same as IB1, but the game environment looks much more epic. Apart from the bugs, there are also some flaws. For example, it is now extremely difficult to cast a magic. You need to draw the entire sign almost exactly as it's shown. It gets pretty tricky on an iPad screen.there are also many hidden weapons that cannot be bought from the shop. I don't like the idea of this, although maybe some of you do. Gems is fun, I really like the concept. But some gems don't work/ don't make sense. For example, Thera a gem that says "upon perfect parry, stun Titan 3S". But when I use the gem and performs a perfect parry, nothing happens. So to all of you who are experiencing problem, I hope that your bugs gets fixed soon. But for now, you guys should stop blaming Chair for everything and try to enjoy the game. Almost every game has bugs. Sometimes it's a big one, but it doesn't mean that the developers are incompetent. (excuse any spelling mistakes, I wrote this on a phone)
Just started NG+ after finishing the game but its way too hard now Cant even finsh off the first enemy! Is it even possible without buying iap?
Not without the IB, I'm almost on NG++ and find that the first enemy is sometimes harder then some of the bosses (Thane and MX Goliath seemed easy for some reason). The thing I notice the most is the new attacks and combos the enemies have on NG+ Edit: what level and stats do you have?
What bosses have you beat? There is the Stone Demon, MX Goliath, Archivist and Thane (who you fight twice)
