man who says this game is short and easy to beat? i'm seasoned in IB1 and i've had some trouble with some of the new enemies... they get pretty beefy for me right about rebirth3. and as for length.. this is pretty long. haven't beaten it yet and i see so many different paths to use already. and some of the areas are just so darn cool looking (like the place with the coffin and gates). i think a lot of the complaints are unfounded based on having played both games.
Very well written. It's good to see there are people that are not blinded by the beautiful graphics and can see and point out all the nasty flaws. For me the game is disappointing in way too many areas. Add all of the technical problems and we have a product that shouldnt be released in current state in the first place, especially when it is aiming to be an iOS masterpiece.
The game definitely isn't optimized for anything below an iPhone 4S and iPad 2. I don't know what they were thinking by releasing such a bug of a game. That being said, using a workaround I shouldn't have had to, I now can enjoy the game. Even though it's never above 20 frames per second. Even then, it sometimes becomes a pretty slide show. Kid N Play said it best: Ain't my type of hype, baby.
I said all that, but no, I was told that's nonsense. Folks, this is not a game with some bugs in it; it actually is a gigantic bug with a bit of game wrapped around it. Demanding 7 bucks for such a technical horror show is out of question. They'll need weeks to fix all these issues. The next hotfix will only take out the biggest problems.
Wow, so many of you are having problems, I should count myself really lucky that I don't have any then I'm sorry for you guys, I'd also be damn angry if my game crashed after having paid 7 bucks...
Wow! I must be playing a different game than a lot of people here. After I reinstalled once I haven't had any problems on my iPod 4g. having just finished the game I have to say that I love the game and can't wait for an expansion or IB3. Without spoiling anything, I will say that this does not complete the story and I feel completely invested in finding out what happens next. Visuals are obviously a marvel and personally I haven't had much slow down at all. And for those who want free roam, I'm not sure what you think you would get out of it. It's not meant to be a sandbox game and wandering around the castle with a d-pad sounds awful to me. Plus there is plenty to explore as more paths open up while you progress through the game. Gameplaywise the new weapons really change things up as you need to adjust your fighting style depending on what weapon you choose, or you can focus on one type and maximize your effectiveness with stats and gems that compliment that class. I prefer dual wield but found myself switching to heavy and light swords depending on the battle. There's a lot of depth there. I'm sure some people are going to call me a fanboy or whatever but it saddens me that the thread is largely negative for a truly amazing game. And for those that are still having issues, Epic is fixing it as we speak. I know it's frustrating to download a game that you can't play but not everyone is having issues, if your on the fence about getting it, my recommendation is an overwhelming "yes!"
While I LOVE the game as it is I still think they could do a free roam version in the future, maybe for consoles. Free roam would only apply to exploring, fights would need either motion-control (consoles) or gestures/touch (ios-devices). No sense in turning the game into a god of war clone. New game+ is hard without IAP. Not much gold to be found.
I lost against Thane, then afterwards it restarted me back the the very begining, level 1 and everything. Is this ment to happen? Surely not, it didnt do it on Infinity Blade 1. Is this a know problem or is it just me??? Someone please reply. Thanks. EDIT: Running iPhone 4, iOS 5.0
But not to level 1 restarted completley. (Like Dino said) I've completed IB1, I know how that works, so i'm sure this is a glitch of some kind. I just hope its not just me. EDIT: Also is this a iCloud issue or the game issue.
Anyone know what happens when your restart from Rebirth 1 on NG+ ? It's way to hard at my current level. Although I do level up a lot faster.
Amazing moment. So I beat Thane and went to my next Rebirth and decided to take a alternate path to the colluseum. Guys. It's. Epic. When you slo mo jump into the arena looks amazing, and as the super large gates locks twist and turn open and that massive 4 legged beast arrives and screams in Siris's face. Never had so much fun. He is MASSIVE. Haven't manages to topple him. So there's 6 deathless? Thane's one?
Why Infinity Blade 1 looks better than Infinity Blade II on iPhone4??? I know that this game looks gorgeus only on iPad2 and iPhone4s, but I couldn't imagine that IB2 will look worse than IB1 on the iPhone4, at least the same Graphic Quality, but it seems like it has Quality lost in Lighting effects and textures (I always talking about iPhone4, not mistake)
