I agree. Heavy weapons do the most damage and are the coolest to use. I'll probably enjoy the double swords more as they become more powerful after more rebirths, but the first ones are really weak.
I really love dual wielding, it sounds and looks really awesome when you stab the opponent like 10 times in a row!
Dual is my style, but everyone's got their own The increase in attack power between weapon tiers is much larger for Heavy, so that (IIRC) the last Heavy-class weapon gives +1450 attack, or some massive number like that. If you're liking the power now, it only gets more extreme. I suspect that all three will be playable at some point in the game... putting the "3" in IB3. Although I suspect your concern will only apply to the prologue. Spoiler I figure at the beginning of IB3, Isa will break the others out, and those will be the tutorial fights, kind of like the stuff up to Saydhi in IB2.
Eh, two handed weapons are better: You don't need 10 hits to kill, 2 - 5 hits will do (yep, two handed weapons are THAT strong). And with that, here's Part 8 of my playthrough: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
For the saved games, here is what I found that worked for me. 1- Start and get passed the freaking tutorial.. get to at least rebirth 1 2- Start a new character 3- Restart the game (new game intro starts) 3- Go to setting load the previous character Now after I did that I was able to get my game back, however have I restarted the game again I still started from the beginning so here's what I did 1- Loaded the second character I created (level 0) 2- Once it started the new game Loaded the first character back I got my saved game back! It's a pain to do every time but at least no need to start from the beginning over and over again! Hopefully a fix for that will come out soon..
Shock and heal gestures too similar. Can hit a perfect square U and still do the shock. So. Infuriating.
Typical snide response from someone who couldn't get it to work and therefore hasn't played it and can't make an opinionated judgement. It probably is best iOS game - compared to the recently released COD: ZOmbies, it plays to the strengths of the hardware.
Plot spoiler again. Spoiler Raidrar/God King is going to be so pissed when he wakes up. And Siris/Ausar will just be sitting there feeling stupid
Just because something plays to the strengths of the hardware doesen't make it a perfect game. (and compared to CoD BO Zombies quite afew games are great). The thing with IB2 is, that when you've finished it, I can't see any reasons for you to come back to it (unless you are one of those people who has to own everything). In a game like Modern Combat 3 you have an excellent multiplayer that is great for local and online matches. (espechially local, because you can actually talk to the other players). In 3 months, wich of the two games I mentioned do you think will it be more likely you'll still be playing? But really, one can't call anything the "best" game, because it's just an oppinion.
Have been reading on and off on this thread that you can not sell items? Is that really a ploy to get people to spend on IAP? I loved IB original, and was all set to get IB2. Will get it after the update now. But am going to be really cheesed if IAPs are needed to get along in the game. I'd rather have paid 10$.
Yeah MC3 is probably the best game in the App Store, though that can change between people. Some may think this is better, or something else. Personally I always love a good replay value.
I am really disappointed in the graphics for this game. Yah, the lighting looks good. But a lot of the textures look muddy on my iPad 2.

Impressions after playing for a few hours on my iPhone 4. The game runs pretty good but not great. I definitely experience some lag that I hope gets addressed in an update. This doesn't cause me to die but it is definitely annoying. The game is still fun. I notice a lot of lag when I parry attacks. Also, tons of lag if I fast forward through cut scenes but I don't really care much about that. The story is way better than the first. The castle is filled with multiple branches, and you actually have multiple bosses and it feels like your doing some different things when you replay the game unlike the first one where you were doing the same thing with like one time where you had to choose between two different paths. I'm having fun with it and the slow down issues aren't totally hampering my experience but I would definitely love this game a lot more if it ran smoother. Here's hoping that they fix this in the future. I for one would take prefer toned down graphics if it meant smoother game play.
Does anyone know how to get to the hidden path thats under the bridge? I say a post on the Epic Forums talking about it but can't find it even on NG+ Also whats your guys current level and rebirth count? Im currently on NG+ with lvl 45
It might sound bad, but it's not: Gold drops are more common. Monsters drop more money, there's more money lying around the map. You'll never be short on gold, at least during OG (once you reach NG+ you'll probably be hurting for cash for a while unless you level hard before clearing OG). Basically, if you put together "more gold" and "can't sell items (unless you have duplicates)", you get a streamlined process where you're roughly equally able to buy stuff, but don't have to go through the tedium of selling your old gear. Plus, it's good news for equipment collectors.
I also wish they have a graphics option. Have the "full graphics" for when you first get the game and just want to gawk at the graphics. Have "reduced graphics" for after you play the game enough or get enough of the graphics, and just want the smooth fighting experience.
