So, uh, anyone else getting wrecked on NG+? I can't beat the first guy because he's gained a ridiculous kick attack that I can't dodge or parry, and I've only got 10 shield because, well, default equips. Anyone got tips for beating him?
The game has some weird glitches. During one run i had all maxed gears with close to 5k health. But then they disappeared when I restarted rebirth one. Now I have the axe which kills the level 5s easily.
That isn't a glitch, it's part of the story line. Once you unintentionally hand over the Infinity Blade to the God King, you are murdered, which was your first rebirth. So now you are reborn with all your high level equipment stripped from you. After that, part of the story is to regain the Infinity Blade from the God King.
So can I delte IB2 off my multitask bar without all my data being erased? Cause I'm pretty far into the game. idk if this helps but I play it on my iPhone 4 5.0.1. Works great just I lost my data once yesterday.
Has anyone tried playing the "new game+" Do I keep my current level and weapons or should I keep playing the OG to level up? Also is the OG and NG separate, so I can switch back and forth?
They're separate, but you can't play OG to level up NG anymore once you clear OG. I've heard that even if you clear OG again, NG won't "update" to its level, so you might as well start NG now if you plan on playing it. Fair warning: the intro is HARD because they don't give you the nice equips this time.
I actually think it's better than IB. It's LOTS of fun. Losing my data numerous times already, though, just... I don't see how they could not know this would happen.... I'm playing through now, though, and having fun doing it. But I know my save won't be here tomorrow. Sad. And I'm also seeing absolutely TERRIBLE lag.
No problems at all on my 4S but that's not a surprise since I'm sure their priority was the 4S and ipad 2 when this was in development. The graphics quality is spectacular and better than gears of war 3 due to the pixel density on the iPhone screen. It's HD for a screen this size whereas Gow 3 is running sub-hd on the 360. This is iOS's premier AAA game and it's worth every cent of that $7.
I used the "fix" mentioned on here, and it worked. After playing throughout the day, I have to say. HOLY MOLY!!! THAT GAME WAS EPIC!!! The story was great, the graphics were better than I expected on the 4g touch, it was insanely fun and OhMyGosh! DID YOU SEE THE ENDING!?!? I seriously can't wait for the next story update, it's gonna be amazing.
Who did you fight at the "end"? I have to say I love the game as well. This is what iOS gaming is all about. It's not all roses though. I can't sell my old items anymore, that threw a monkey wrench in my system. Other than that, I can see my poor little iPhone 4 struggling with these graphics but It's 100% playable. Also, I had to turn up the music volume and it not in sync with the battles. The original Infinity Blade music was more memorable. Remember the music from the first time you saw the God King jump off that throne? My overall rating 4/5 I hope is that 7 other iOS Developers surprise us with games as beautiful and satisfying as Infinity Blade 2 in 2012.
The very end? Raidriar. But there's a cutscene after the credits that's quite interesting You can sell equipment, but only if you have duplicates. I dont mind though, i tend to try to collect and keep everything when I play
I found on my iphone 4 ios 5.01 that when I start the game and it reset itself to the beginning stuff. That if I opened the multitask bar and closed the game out then started again i was back where my save should have been. Has happened twice. So I at least didnt lose any progress. However the second time it happened has me stuck in the arena fighting the big ass creature over and over. I have killed him 6 times in a row and it wont let my progress any further. Gettin alot of xp and gold but want to move on lol.
Not entirely optimal, but maybe you could let him kill you and you can go back a rebirth? That'd let you get back to doing other things.
Turned off data in iCloud and no more save issues. For now, anyway. I think that was it, though. Thanks to all those who offered the tip. Also, game seems a bit more smooth, though this could be a placebo effect. Yeah, definitely placebo effect. Game still runs like a dog. Upgrading ain't an option, though. MUST wait for 5... LOL.
You got that right, man! I was waiting for someone to connect these two, and you're the first! Already got my refund for Epoch since the devs told me they wish I would hang with them until their fix, but couldn't tell me when that would be, so I said 'the heck with that!' Still no fix for that and it's been almost a month. Whatever-got my money and moved on.... Will wait awhile, but If they don't plan on fixing this 'til next year, I'll do the same here and wait til then and MAYBE pick this up when they get it straightened out. Got no time for no bull#%*&!!
The Epoch update was submitted over a week ago, and I'm pretty sure IB2 will be fixed by the weekend.
This might be true, but you should also note that the most up-voted or "helpful" reviews are the 1-star complaints. These have been up-voted in excess of 100.
I would imagine a majority of the people up-voting those reviews are the people who match the device/iOS version combo that the complainants have.
There is a dead end in the yard with the statue of a knight who kills a dragon with a spear. No way out.... Only a dor with a padlock... This game sucks! First syncing issues and then dead end... Thank you....
