daamn I was level 15 this morning, then I picked it up like 4 hours later and my character just restarted, great -.-
is it just my iPhone 4S or is this getting really hot.... and i mean REALLY HOT... i cant even hold it in my hands
I've tried contacting Chair in various ways (Twitter, their forums, etc), but it seems they are either summarily overlooking the save issue, or decided I'm not trustworthy (which would mean very level-headed reasoning on their part ).
Why did my account get reset? i was level 6 and now im back to one. I understand its not much just....why?
I did also have the icloud problem. I start playing on iPad and when I tried to see if the syncing was working, I open the game to my iPhone and after one match i lost all the leveling progress and I d have to start all over from the beginning (tutorial) and level 1. Very very annoying and I can't imagine this happens later that I ll be in a very high level after a lot of hours of playing. Hope they fix this also!
the thing is i didnt have to start at the tutorial...i just went straight to 1st rebirth even though i was suppose to be at 2nd rebirth
I know this has been stated numerous times already, but I'm really pissed at this game, at the moment. I beat Thames and story died. I closed the game at the Infinity Blade 2 Start Rebirth 2. I come back and I'm back at Start Rebirth 0. WTF! This is seriously the biggest bug I've ever come across in video games. And it seems totally random if you'll start back at the tutorial, Rebirth 1, 2, or Lil' Wayne's Rebirth. What gets me even more is that all my achievements are still in place. Sad.
hi guys, just sharing regarding the experience I had so far. Insta-bought it the minute it came out. Read in the forum about a lot of people could not get it to work properly. I just kept my fingers crossed. Installed the app on my 32GB 4S non-jailbreak running latest iOS 5.0.1. No reboot. Just launch it straight away. Game center ON. Booted up nicely, was in the game and play through it for like 20 mins non stop. Device did get pretty hot (same like a few other games I played on the phone anyway). Managed to obtain some achievements along the way as well. Have not tried it on my iPad yet...
I had this problem (lost all progress three times) and deleted/reinstalled and haven't had issues since. No crashes or bugs at all.
Some of my thoughts on an iPod Touch 4: Sound is a mixed bag. Pretty mediocre voice acting, they should have stuck with whatever cool made-up language they spoke in the first game. The actors really don't have as much emotion when they speak English. Most of the clinks and slashes and grunts are recycled from the first game, and some music as well. The new sfx stick out, as they're not quite as good as the recycled ones. Go figure. The graphics on iPT4 would be the same as the first game if it weren't now painfully obvious when something is 4S or iPad 2 exclusive, and thus missing. Examples: trees with huge stupid-looking holes where the light shaft effects should come through, a fountain with no water, yet I can mysteriously hear water running... The framerate is about 30 fps but often drops to around 15. Graphics, presentation, and sound (ON IPOD TOUCH, definitely would be a 4.5 on A5 devices) : 3/5 The gameplay remains much the same, with hacking and slashing and parrying, etc, etc. It's a good formula, and it's done just as well as always here. The biggest improvement has got to be the game's length. You've got much more content here than the first game, even after its numerous updates. I tip my hat to Chair for that. You can now choose three classes of weapons, but you probably already knew that. It's a good twist, though not as game-changing as it could be, in my opinion. The IAP are dreadful this time around. You get money at a reduced rate (compared to IB1) and you CAN'T SELL WEAPONS. C'mon, that is not very subtle, Chair. And neither is the fact that the IAP items now appear in every section of the shop. Scrolling through the sword section? IAP gold right at the bottom of the list. Potions? IAP. Helmets? The game is always shoving IAPs in your face, starting at the convenient price of only 99c... Gameplay: 4.5/5, despite IAP woes Solid 4/5 game. Too many shortcomings to be worth the hype, and sure as hell not a masterpiece. It is a must have for the price it's offered at, especially for you A5-powered device owners out there. If you're rocking a 4th or 3rd Gen device, don't expect a visual showpiece. Expect a fun refinement of last year's formulaic fighter, despite its worse visuals and badly done IAP system.
Okay, I'm officially done. Closing out of the app completely means the game starts again at the tutorial or at some random rebirth. Absolutely awful. This game is not meant to be played on anything less than a 4S, it seems. Has Chair mentioned anything about the botched save thing?
This works.!!!!!! during the start...keep swiping up to reach the multitask bar...if it hangs....hit the game and then immediately swipe up again. this works
