What OS and type of iPhone/iPod/iPad are the people who are losing their save playing on? I wanna know if it's specific to a certain type or if it's just random.
Ah that makes me nervous to start it. I've been putting it off all day just reading everything online. I don't wanna have to start over if mine does it too. I may just wait for a fix.
Whos the final boss in this game? because on Rebirth 2 I met a lvl 75 Stone Demon in an underground area and it was huge.

I tried it, no point in going this far if it's a one time deal. If you just open the app again, it seems to crash. Instead, when the IBII logo comes up, double tap home and leave it again until the spinning icon. Leave it for about 10 seconds and then touch the screen, the game should load. I did find that when I did this, my sound was messed up and I only heard the background ambient noise, none of the actual foreground sounds. Sounds like it's caused by excessive number of apps installed and the additional memory needed to cache the icons. That's what I get for installing too much. Maybe it's a good time for a little cleanup?
So I had gotten it to work somehow. Although I lost all my stuff and my level was reset once, I was at the same place, so I kept going. Then I got to the Spoiler guy on the top who tells you not to go further, and then I killed him. I stuck my hand into the red light thingy, then the game crashed. I restarted it, and now I'm back at the crashing. No go with the multi-tasking thingy. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but when it loads, I go to the Spoiler main scene again with the worker. I', pretty sure that's what it is, but I'm not sure because it doesn't load that far. Whenever I try the multitasking thingy, it crashes on the spot....
K, just restarted the game and it crashes again! i also saw a part of the vid with the man on the chair ,does that mean that my progress was reset !? at least i was able to try the game ,lol

just a fyi... installed on my 4s, got to about lvl 30. decided to install on ipad2 to see what the graphics look like and if the cloud sync worked. the boss i was fighting was current but my lvl and all stats/money was gone... and restarted on the ipad 2. i started back up my 4s...same spot data is gone... was verry pissed. deleted app from ipad, starting over on 4s.. at 15 now..
Followed the fix, and still didn't want to work for me. Too much work to try it again. Really something that we shouldn't have to do or go through at all -.- Huge fan of the series and all, but just.... just not that big of a deal.
Can't say I have had any crashing problems, however, is the game incredibly hard or am I just a crappy player? (did ok in first one) The first opponent seems to hit for 25 - 60 points, me I get 6 or 12!
