Runs better than IB1 on my ipod touch 4g, plus you can rename SIRIS in game . Look at my previous post if you have an ios 5.0.1 Micro restart your device. No JB , im clean.
It doesn't run at all. Wait for an update. Seriously. With all this pre-release hype, why couldn't Epic and ChAIR get their s**t together and confirm that the game actually runs on a supposedly supported device? Were they too busy to, y'know, run some basic tests on any device other than the 4S? And yes, I am mad. I'm running iOS 5.0.0.
Followed your advice. I got a little further to a prompt screen teling me to upgrade to 5.0 for best game performance, then it crashed. Then I restarted my iPod, killed all apps in memory and unplugged the iPod from my PC (it was charging). Tried the game again and got it to work! Thanks. I'm playing it now. Framerate's a little stuttery at parts and I don't get all the razzle dazzle of the 4S, but still looks good.
Gotta wait til iPhone 5 to experience ALL the graphical goodies, but please don't kid yourself. Infinity Blade 2 on iPhone 4 is absolutely STUNNING. And, for me at least, runs exceptionally well, and far better than IB ever did. I'm floored.
Is it not possible to sell mastered items anymore? Or am I missing something? I can only sell gems. I hope this was not done to encourage IAP gold...
Works great on my iphone 4 ios5 man, fought 4 battles so far, no lags just a few stutters on the cinematics but battles works great. Btw, it stuck at the Infinity Blade 2 logo at my first startup but its no big deal, not a crash, just a long loading at start.
Just like how you can't sell stuff in Dark Meadows? lol...never got a reply from the devs when I asked them about it. IB 2 hung/froze on me the moment the 1st 'enemy' appeared...going to reboot my ipad 2 and try again.
I'm a bit disappointed with IB2. The character shadows are only present in some scenes (why not have them all the time?), they aren't smooth and no self shadowed characters like in the trailer.
started rebirth 2...took about 10 mins... And I noticed some shuttering with my iphone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. Also during some battles there some lag. Otherwise its a lot better than the first.
Far superior. With IB I was getting lag and some inputs weren't being recognized. With this baby, everything is all butter. One thing I like about IB2 is that the character swipes seem to flow more realistically. You can't simply swipe all over the place now like the iPhone is some newfangled Wii remote. Or something like that.
