I think you need over two gigs anyway - I did. But try shutting off your device and retarting it. It normally works for me when updates freeze up.

Okay, this isn't cool. I've played a proper pre-newgame, levelling all the items. Then I decided to go ahead and free the Worker. I do the opening sequence again in the temple but I start off with all my gear from the previous game. So, okay this seems like a nice bug. I bash my way through until I get killed by the arrow/bolt.

Then get taken to the where the Worker prison is: 'Start Rebirth 25'. RAGH. No new game.

When I started the game, I did somehow keep the Infinity Blade and it's +100 water damage gem on first rebirth. So maybe that was a clue. Either way...I need to start a new char me thinks.

    Thanks for reading!

I've read that for that you must choose that option yourself from the character slots screen...

    Options > Character Slots > New Game+

New game+ is right under your Original Game's save file.

I had this happening as well, but I got it to work after downloading the facebook app. What is preventing you from accessing it is infinity blade II asking you for permission to access your data and it isn't being displayed correctly through safari... yet with the facebook app, it shows up just fine.

look like this update has a bug, in this version you can sell your item even if you only have 1 of them, but the problem here is if you sell your unlocked item( black item that have been unlocked by wheel , chest...) then that item WILL BE LOCKED AGAIN, and if you unlock it again you can keep getting xp from them even if you have mastered them before, anyone here have the same problem as me?

I have a couple of questions. How do you modify a custom weapon. I thought I was I doing it right for the achievement, but I guess not. Has anyone had problems with achievements not unlocking. I have beat the god king with a heavy weapon and with a sword and shield and nothing popped. Also to make absolutely clear. If I start a new game plus. Do I lose everything minus the level I beat the god king at. So I if I beat him at level 40. I start new game plus at level 40. Thanks for the replies.

I must admit I'm enjoying two handed weapons now. Blocking finally works well. I'm invincible, and its a whole new experience. I still think Dual is more challenging tho but I now see what the fuss was all about: Two H is perfect for noobs

Guys does anyone know if you can sync two devices to have the same gameplay on Infinity blade 2. I own an iPod 4G and an iPhone 4S. They are both set up through iCloud. Just curious if it's possible?? Thanks for any advice.

Actually, i find Dual Sword to be a breeze.... I'm very good at dodging and parrying(Level 32 with all my points into Attack, nothing into health... so i have 150hp with the gladiator looking armor).

But if I lay my hands on a 2H weapon, and face off a monster which you can't parry.... i get my ass handed back to me

It's the other way around IMO. Dodging is for noobs since it is much more forgiving than blocking. Also, blocking an element which you dont have resistance for still hits you for the Element damage (except for Perfect Blocks), and the elements that drain your HP hurt like f***. Here are some points to ponder. (+) for good points, (-) for the bad points.

    Duals:
+2 out of 3 dodge buttons is usually safe. So panicking still has a better chance to avoid damage
+ducking (middle dodge) evades 90% of all horizontal attacks
+Combos from a swipefest after the initial LRL or RLR
+Benefits too much from +attack gems, and can make it overpowered :)
+Shield stat is negligible. Pump Attack Power!
+Stabs (both from Stunning or getting a critical parry or evade) can be button mashed. Very forgiving.
+Lower risk when not having the right elemental resistances.
+/- Damage is only mediocre at the start, but scales better with more stats into Attak Poer and with +attack gem scaling
    - Exhaustion threshold depends on armor only
    - Cannot block

    2 Handed:
    - Only 1 out of 3 block buttons will be successful
    - each block can only prevent damage from one direction
    - Combos need focus to trigger good damage. Wrong direction and you only deal partial damage
    - no gem build can make it overpowered as much as Duals
    - Cannot ignore shield stat. This will split some points into shield rather than attack power
    - Slashes work the same way as combos. Swipe in the right direction to get full damage
    - blocking without the right resistances will still let elemental damage get through. Life-draining elements hurt like f***.
    + High damage per hit
+ Shield stat can be improved and therefore allowing more blocks
+ Can improve HP more without hurting the damage output
+/- Damage is already high, but it doesnt scale much since you'll have to split stats across the board
    - cannot dodge
    - stabbing with a blunt weapon o_O

I still prefer 2H though, coz it's more awesome that way for me. I always choose 2-handers in every game I play if I get have the choice. :)

    Using skill points in shield:
You can just do perfect blocks or parry some attacks. Perfect blocks will decrease the shield points you lose after blocking an attack, and it's quite easy to do them. Parry will give you 1 shield point. If you think you are quite good with 2-handed weapons, I'd said you that you can forget about shield points. Use your skill points to increase health, attack or magic. I spent abou 140 points in magic, so the magic metter fills quickly. Now I am just using my skill points in attack.

True... But only if you've become accustomed to blocking. The whole point of my post was to show which one was more noob friendly. Sorry if I wasnt that clear. And I guess my post about that was too specific.

I'm low level and new. Should I try dual? I'm using two handed but the swipes are tricky. Great power though

remember this, you get tired quickly while dodging, and dodging while 'exhausted' will hit you for like 100 hp, so dual mostly relies on parries to survive, dodging more than 3 times is usually unsafe

Exact-Pscience this also goes out to ur argument on Duals being noob friendly...

The only armor I've used that lets you dodge a lot is the Thark(?) Armor... the gladiator looking one, and it has VERY low HP... so using Duals on a build like mine (All points into STR) is very dangerous using that armor cuz 1-2 hits will kill you (150 max hp isn't a lot u know)

And using any other armor other than very high level armor will only let you dodge 3-4 times without Exhaustion, and dodging while Exhausted costs a lot of HP.... Duals rely more on Parries than on dodging...

And using 2H needs a lot of HP and a lot of practice for Perfect Blocks when an attack isn't parry-able

Both require Skill.... the weapon which is most noob friendly is the SnS, since it provides you with dodge and block options, something for every ocassion

2H vs Dual is just a matter of preference, but requires skill nonetheless..... With Duals you CAN'T, and i repeat, CAN'T rely on dodges for too long or you will receive damage... and big monsters like the Wretch can't be parried unless it's the biting attack. Also, Nimble monsters like dual wielders or the women and jesters will kick a lot, you can't parry that.

Having a weapon for each monster type is the most intelligent thing to do, but i do prefer duals... i whip out a 2H when i know i won't be able to parry much

If you're new, you should just try them all. I don't think there's a perfect weapon class, each has something someone will like or dislike. For instance, 2 handing is beastly but I have trouble blocking with it. All in all, find out what you like instead of just looking at so much of the specifics.
