This is what a guy from impossible studios posted on the epic forums. "Hey guys, We're super excited to be able to get Infinity Blade: Dungeons in your hands. The Impossible team is doing some great work! Stay tuned for updates!" So I guess starting now they're going to start updating us?! Once this happens I can breath a sigh of relief. I just don't think asking for an update is really that much to ask. Every other developer has done it thus far and as far as I know video games are still selling pretty well.
I feel you bro. Hahaha Well atleast now we know that the game has not fallen into the void of lost games.
That's true. Ill be excited when it arrives. Sometime in 2013. When you think you can only possibly have 2 and a half maximum months to wait for something. just to a giant 12 month potential time stamp slapped on top of that it was a bit frustrating. As long as its still optimized for my device and they actually start updating us I won't have a problem with them anymore. As is, this is sloppy and I haven't appreciated the complete detachment the developer has put between them and their fans. Only time will tell I suppose.
How can that be? 41 minutes ago you were done with this game forever. So why would you care about updates?
All this crap actually reminds me of March of heroes, and Battlefield 3 when they supposedly were going to be amazing games....and got cancelled. But I do believe Dungeons will come out in 2013.... Oh well back to Orcs Vengeance.
I probably shouldn't, but I hafta ask... What kind of internal/emotive mechanism would drive someone to ascribe THIS much importance and weight to a game?
Wait, wait, wait... Battlefield 3? Do you mean that online Battlefield that got pulled from the AppStore because of its issues?
Oh, OK. I was asking that because EA said that they will release the real Battlefield for iOS, or something like that, after pulling that... thing... from the AppStore.
Did Chair do any development on this? If not, why is everyone soooo riled up? Did I miss something really awesome about this game?
Nonono. You misunderstand. "Done with this game" in a fit of rage means "why is this out? I want it NOW"
Someone who loves Infinity Blade THAT much! My girlfriend hates it because I update her daily on the rumors/my frustrations with it and my damned Baltimore Ravens defense being atrocious. I'm just impatient. That's all it comes down to.
I have 2 points to make here. NĂºmero uno- of course IBD wasn't the ONLY reason I bought an iPad 3 but it was one of the larger deciding factors (Plus it sounds better in a stern "fed up" forum rant) And 2- How do you know IBD is gonna be $5. Do you work for Epic?! What aren't you telling us?!?! (Number 2 is sarcasm just so I don't get another chain of questions asking me to elaborate.)
Makes sense, after all they had a new team and they had to buy them all staplers, that's probably a six month task by itself. http://allthingsd.com/20121017/infinity-blade-sequel-wont-ship-until-next-year/
