Then they've been in final stages of development for 7 months. They announced the game and its been dark ever since.
Except that's the big difference between Beamdogs and Epic. Beamdogs has kept us updated and has let us know exactly what they're doing and exactly when BG is coming. Epic hasn't told us a thing except the initial information. That's why I and many other people are upset. The more time they take on this game to make it great is appreciated but an update wouldn't hurt. There hasn't been one.
Well Epic has a great track record with Infinity blade 1 and 2, so I believe Dungeons will also be a great game. These guys put out quality and there are plenty of other great games on iOS to play in the meantime.
Just give them time. If they make it through the fall and still haven't released, or atleast haven't come out with any more info, then you can start to worry. Epic is a serious dev company, and I'm sure they won't just drop the project on us. In the meantime, just play some GOF2 supernova or something, there are plenty of great games out there to distract you.
I wonder if you mean the same Infinity Blade 2 that I'm thinking of... The one with numerous faults, bugs, problems, and didn't work on several devices at launch. The same one where they bragged that it only took them 6 months to make?
All that may be true, but I still don't see that the developers owe us anything other than delivering in a somewhat timely fashion. I would give them quite a good leeway still. Information is absolutely preferable, for sure, but there's been comments here and on other forums and comment sections on articles that make it sound like the developers are incompetent because the don't deliver the game according to the posters expectations and timetable. Which I find rude and borderline immature.
Good Bless Infinity Blade: Dungeons isn`t developed by Chair otherwise I would probably don`t advise anyone to buy it on Launch Day. As far as I can tell I`m currently waiting to see what Chair next Game will be because if it`s again something similar like Vote! I would assume that Epic Games doesn't trust them enough anymore to let them handle a Major Release AAA Title and is letting them instead do those cheap commissional work.
Yes, that's the one I know that the game had problems at launch but look at the product now, it's amazing and imo it surpasses the original infinity blade in storytelling, graphics, in all aspects. That is really tough to beat. Like many have said their are a lot of infinity blade type clones but none duplicated. Even if Dungeons has it's problems at launch if it's anywhere near the finished product that Infinity blade 2 is I will be very happy.
I will always associate Chair with Shadow Complex(which is pretty awesome)..hopefully they will get back to making games like that.
