One of my comments in this thread is top of page one on a google search. Imagine the ammount of reverse rep they will get after reading the dissapointment in subsequent posts. Their official forum is starting to fill up with not so happy chappies right now.
I'm as excited for IB: D as ever Don't buy or refrain from doing so for their sake. Buy it for yerself Unless you dislike action and melee simulations, I doubt you'll go wrong with IB 2...
Exactly. Developers? Publishers? Wth are those things?!.. just play games you like and enjoy yourself.
As much as I love Apple, that is what they do. They're marketing geniuses. They keep their customers wanting the latest and greatest device. 5 years down the line they will have the A20 chip (JK) and it will be called the iPAD 14 which will run for about 900 dollars and it will be sold out in a day. Apple has us by the ba..s !! and they know it.
It doesn't have that much to do with marketing. It's got more to do with continuing to make products that are a significant improvement over their previous products and also significantly better than the competition.
I have Orc Vengeance it is a great game, but I really believe IB Dungeons will surpass this game in every way.
Yes, I agree with you, their products are the best but it is marketing also because they are continually pushing out new devices every 6 -8 months with their big marketing campaigns, advertisements, commercials and News Conferences. This really has a lot to do with Marketing also. Knowing that people are lapping this stuff up.
at least the new ipad can be used as trade bait through apple, they buy em back for descent prices whenever they announce the new a6 ipad / ipad mini in oct. at least ios6 includes siri which should be sweet for the new ipad
Totally agree. The game is old news, hype and I'm just bored of waiting for this vapour-ware. Plenty more great titles that I can actually buy already and play on my machines. Today was the perfect day for a launch - perhaps helping us to forget about the disappointment of being teased at the start of the year with a game that never happened. With no release, the disappointment is being relived and amplified and as a result, to quote VaroFN... "Meh, I just don't care about this game anymore."
Of course you care. That's why you're frustrated. It would make much more sense for the game to be released when the new Apple devices are actually available.
That does make a lot of sense. Hear ye, hear ye, all you forumites without much reason to go living after Apple's terrible betrayal on this night, there is still hope.
At the end of the month (Sept.) when the new hardware becomes available and the release of IOS 6 they'll release this game then, is what I heard.
And due to my frustation I don't care about the game anymore Anyway, I will buy Dungeons, but like any other not-so-cool game: without any enthusiasm or excitement the day before its release.
Is the iPad mini going to have the A6 chip? Because I will trade in my new iPad for the iPad mini when and if it's announced.
Not that same chip, unlikely. The smaller iPad is going to be aimed at a lower-end market than the existing iPad, so it will have worse tech specs, if anything. Maybe they will upgrade the processor in the regular iPad, who knows?
Just found this , looks like Sept 18 , Apple asked Epic to delay launch to coincide with os6 and iPhone5 launch. http://www.techhog.com/exclusive-epics-infinity-blade-dungeons-set-to-launch-with-ios-6-and-the-new-iphone/ Ugh
