They really are milking the hype far, far too much now.
Well, even without Dungeons, that was a pretty weak news conference. Nothing no one didn't already know. As far as Epic, yeah, they knew that this event was building anticipation for the Dungeons release and not saying anything until after the event clearly used it to their advantage to keep building the hype. If the game really is done, WTF?
I think this is the sort of behaviour that could turn hype into apathy. /yawn I just wasted family time on thin air. Thanks a lot Epic, thanks a lot.
A speculation. We all were thinking the same. You know, every IB game went on sale, and Chair always shows a game at the keynotes. I hate this whole thing.
Changed my mind about getting infinity blade 2. These jokers don't deserve my money. I just watched a glorified twitter and Facebook advert, feeling seriously bummed out at the moment.
cliffy just mentioned a announcement is coming soon for ib dugeons, but yet nothing was mention at the keynote, maybe not till October when they do the new press conf. i knew they wouldn't announce ipad mini why would they take a way from there flag ship device the iphone 5?... will hear about a new laptop perhaps ipad mini then will hear about dungeons.
I think it is wrong (marketing wise) to release a game that you show on ''Big New iPad'' keynote, on the keynote of the ''Small New iPad''... I think something it has going very wrong on Epic's plans for this game.
right was this a ipad key note? nope, there releasing a new ipad with a6 processor they have too to compete with iphone 5 and perhaps a mini...if cliffy says a announcement is soon im sure it will be soon.
and it was dumb for apple to release the new ipad with a a5x processor and not a a6 just stupid on their part with the retina resolution they knew a5x couldn't muster frames per second out of these games with double 1080p res. Now our devices are gonna be outdated quicker then ever cause a6 is leaps and bounds better then the a5x. yay just what i wanted a new ipad with the processor it should of had in the first place.
ya great game, also BASTION is incredible prob one of the best looking retina ipad games the colors just pop on that screen...dont forget if you like tower defense KingdomRush HD is awesome or FieldRunners 2 HD which should be pretty sweet with more real estate. Horn is pretty awesome too.
