Well it would be real nice if it's launched tomorrow. I won't get my hopes up too high. Hopefully it will be compatible with ipod touch 4G, iphone 4S, ipad2 and 3 and of course the upcoming devices.

I know this game is going to blow all other iOS dungeon crawlers out of the water !

Hope 3GS too! It's a long shot, but both Infinity Blade games work on them. And the 3GS will support iOS 6 so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. Up until now, there's still only been a handful of iPhone games that don't support the 3GS.

If it really was completed months ago then presumably they've spent the extra time polishing the game with bug fixes and such. Right? Right?

According to Squarezero in the previous pages, he said that there probably will be older model support: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2269026&postcount=114

The majority of your theory has a ring of truth to it.
Except Dungeons is being developed primarily by Impossible Studios, another Epic studio.
Your source is not the only one to say the game will be launched with the new phone and it does tie in with previous infinity blade titles showing up at major Apple launches so I guess we will see tomorrow.
Hodapp tweeted that it would probably be released tomorrow and I suspect he would know more than a lot of us.
Plus the current sales of IB and IB2 implies Epic has something about to kick off.
But the development of the game is by the newly (ish) formed Impossible Studios, not Chair.
Squarezero's post with the interview quotes that's linked to above confirms it's not Chair.

Yeah. And I suppose making the game available right after the Keynote might be a clever move on Epic's part, unless Apple has baited them into some sort of exclusive iPhone 5 launch title shenanigans.

The Internet is exploding now with speculation of this game coming out today, look at this google searches :)

I didn't care much for ib1 and didn't bother downloading ib2 but this sort of thing would be right up my street.

If you watch a release video they say and I paraphrase, "it won't look as good on the lower end systems" ie available for other platforms too.

Exactly. He meant not all the effects will appear in lower end devices.. not that it won't play.
Lets hope this is the night!

Yep, this was confirmed for several smartphone iOS devices as well, originally in a Slide To Play podcast.

My mind was running along similar lines, until I spotted Shufflepuck Cantina. Now, I'm happy either way ;)

Who else is watching a live blog of the Keynote? :) Ars Technica's live blog works wonderfully on the iPhone.
