But it's Not street fighter, unfortunately. There's exactly one character to choose from, with one super and one magic spell at a time... no skills/special moves... I wonder if the enemies would act differently. If this game were to be judged as a true fighting game it would be terrible. So let's hope that it's not a limited one character fighting game.

Watching the previews really raised my interest in the game. The game might be a little smaller in scope than was originally expected, but for it's price, I think it's a great deal for what is offered. It's not actually an RPG: It's essentially Punch Out with swords featuring some RPG elements- not exploration. The graphics are very pretty- it could pass for a high-end PSP/low-end console game. The interface and presentation is also great. This will be one of the top iOS games of the year, for sure.

I agree with the Punch Out analogy, I think it fits. I can't wait to play and get to the higher difficulty levels to see what challenges it holds. The graphics are stunning and I think this will make an exciting addition to the iOS library.

Can't wait to see what else can be done with this engine!

They never said open world. They said action rpg. There is quite a difference.

No PSP game could push these visuals.

We'll get multiplayer for that. Real human opponents are always better than AI. So yeah skills will b involved

No, they advertised it as a free roaming RPG from the start. Probably the main reason people are feeling mislead, is their original demonstration at Apple's keynote. Then they release Epic Citadel which misleads people even further. If they had just announced from the start that it was going to be a fighting game, then there wouldn't be so much confusion and disappointment (read the Youtube comments on the touchgen videos if you don't know what I'm talking about).

If you could choose a character who would it be? a Giant powerful orc or a small puny knight?
(referance to the project sword demo)

PSP is many years old, but still got some juicy old horsepower. You should check out the new God of War: Ghost of Sparta game, it really looks spectacular..

The sad part is, we don't get to choose characters at all... very disappointing.

It looks alright, but still kinda grainy to me. The 480 x 272 screen is similar to older idevice's screens, but the 960 x 640 retina display just blows the PSP's screen out of the water.

I do have to agree with this post. They hyped their game around this demo and I love how in an interview I saw Mustard hated the use joysticks in touch screens, yet his demo had it. He should of said touch to move from the start. He did mislead a lot of people, nevertheless I will buy the game.

I wished this supported older devices (such as the 2g...) but I guess not...being forced to upgrade then.

The concept behind Infinity Blade was just being conceived, at that point, so to speak.

It obviously evolved to what it is now, for reasons only Chair and Epic understand. I'm happy it's coming, I'll enjoy it, something is better than nothing.

While, many are understandably disappointed in what Infinity Blade is, measured against your ideas of what could have been...live for today.

Enjoy what is coming. You or I could die tomorrow, for all anyone knows. Yet, we'd have died miserable and unhappy because we could never be pleased.

Too many people live for what could have been, never for what is. Only to end up never happy, living in regret that they let life and its pleasure pass them by...

Enjoy the what is, for that is truly all there is.

If people live in complaint and misery, never fulfilled and nit picky...I dunno, it lacks altruism.

It's simple: if you don't like it, don't buy it. You probably won't enjoy it, so why waste all of your energy flow on negativity? Just let it be. The complaints about what it isn't, are getting old. It is what it is. It will not become something different, it will not magically develop a new control scheme. You'll just have to live with it. But do so, in peace. No more negativity. I'm sure you'll find something to like. Focus on that. Change your vibration.

Who knows, we may be able when multiplayer arrives, to play as Titan boss characters. Or they could add that through an update.

Carmack did the exact same thing with rage. Remember how he showed the engine demo of a free-playing fps game and all of a sudden like a week before rage's release date we find out it's on rails and only 3 levels long?

Why do they constantly do this and mislead ppl?

I'm rather surprised this isn't priced at the premium. The graphics look phenomenal but I don't think I will be expecting anything epic here. If Chair do keep their promises of Angry Birds-like constant updates then I think this will be an excellent game to purchase. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the multiplayer! I'd say I'm cautiously optimistic about this game.
