LOL!! I know it's a joke (hopefully ) but it doesn't make any sense. You can't sue someone because your liking of something they made made your girlfriend not like you lol. That's like suing someone for writing a book (that has an extreme opinion presented)
Enough with the screenshots! Finally, some gameplay over @ TouchGen! http://www.touchgen.net/infinity-blade-preview-part-1
If it's a very very good book, that made me lose my house, dog and most importantly my fav toaster I'd sue em too
It follows Campbell's A Hero's Journey to a tee. http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/smc/journey/ref/summary.html
Thanks for posting this. Gives a better idea of what to expect. Really looking forward to this, next week.
Those videos were helpful. I think awesome sword battles with rpg elements and gorgeous looks is still worth $5.99
the hype wasnt from them to begin with. it was from people who were expecting a lot of things despite the facts and details given out. its pretty clear cut. point click for movement. a more intricate fruit ninja-ish battle system, a cycle of getting killed and killing the boss that gets harder with each run, a really nice array of equipments that you can see physically on your avatar, no real storyline its more of a pick up and play title, and looks gorgeous. this was given and confirmed yet some of these people still think there was more to it. i say it'll sell. and to those who are still hoping this is a full fledged free roaming content filled with 20+ hours worth of gameplay, you guys got it mixed up with the other game.
Here's my take from the info and previews: Pros: - Awesome graphics, probably the best anyone's ever seen on iOS - Cool swordplay/battle mechanics - Some RPG elements - Fun multiplayer battles (here's a question: what are the benefits of winning battles in multiplayer?) Cons: - Not free roaming - Shallow RPG elements - Not much story Overall: Worth the price - much higher would've been questionable. I may edit this list . . .
actually epic games created the hype by showing the citadel demo and demo of project sword at the same time. people thought epic citadel was a sneak peek into the game, giving the impression that you would be able to explore. epic games should have pointed out that this was not the case from the very beginning, if theres anybody to blame its them, simple as that. it still looks like a good game, as long as you can get over the fact that it was never meant to be anything more than what it is.
Hype... http://wireless.ign.com/articles/113/1135392p1.html http://wireless.ign.com/articles/113/1136076p1.html http://wireless.ign.com/articles/113/1136277p1.html And especially this... http://pc.ign.com/articles/113/1136656p8.html
You'll be happier if you think of this as more Soul Caliber than Oblivion. If you want a full RPG check out Aralon. That being said. I'm going to get both.
