According to a story in the Salt Lake Tribune (Chair is based in SLC). Go back a couple of pages and you'll see the link. I really hope it's true though :):):D

Oh that article. I read that but somehow I don't think it will be out in a few days. Hope I'm wrong!

Maybe it will be out for Cyber Monday or on the usual Wed/Thurs.

Epic games, had early on, been assisting Chair. Back when the game was still referred to as Project Sword. Chair Entertainment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Epic Games.

Epic is a reliable studio, as is Chair:

    Epic Games metacritic score:

    Chair Entertainment:

(while relatively new, they haven't had a terrible review)

    No. This is apples fault.

They must of got the app from chair and said - 'okay - so now we put of in the review process.' And taken off for the holiday weekend.

Oh-yeah, they probably added blankly - 'it'll be out in a couple of day's.'

If like the article states the exec's themselves were like - 'this changes everything' - and it does - then they should have created a fast-track approval process for this game. In particular. At least. For the love of God!!!

Now like someone posted earlier that's just plain daft of them not to have done. Because it's the holiday weekend. We would have got to show the game of to nieces and nephews what may not have had the time or opportunity to surf the net as thoroughly as us and be up to speck on whats new and cutting of edge. No?

Point is - the apps submitted - and the rotten worms at apple's app store are hatching their eggs innit.

Someone shld start an email to them (apple app-store approval munkies) telling them to move things along. Send us all a notification or something as and when they do decide to release it. Just a suggestion - am good with those - not so much on the follow through process. . .Notification is critical casue even tho toucharcade is the best - 2 hours might slip by between release and them telling us about it.

SO perhaps dmn apple to get with progress (once again) and create a pre-whatyoucallit - advance purchase option for this app - and a few others. BANG - they release it and we got it stored all nice and pretty. IDK perhaps thts just a way to ease on the withdrawal like symptoms the wait is building up in some of us. . I for one cannot sleep for fear of the evil god-king. [goes back to searching for - infinity blade - on itunes. .. . dmn them . . . . dmn themmmmmmmmmmm]

Do you think if a ton of people emailed them, Apple would speed up the process? I'm also waiting for Dungeon Defenders to come out.

IF it would do any good, I think we'd go here, enter our info, include the game's name and "App Store Approval" in the subject (or something like that) and tell them how bad we'd like to get our hands on this game.

Beta testing for big game companies
That just really really won't work.

    I wondered the same thing.

I have a gut feeling it will probably release this week. Then again, I'm probably wrong.

no, your feeling is partly right. dungeon defenders will be released *maby* this week. also UT3 engine. thats your feeling.
i think when epic submits this to the app store it will be instantly approved. just like some other major companys who dont need to wait in line.

Epic games, i challenge you to make me feel bad and get it approved and on the store this week (A)

Trendyent. The developers behind Dungeon Defenders, anticipated Dec 15 as the release...though, it could be earlier.

I agree and do not believe Epic will need to wait in line, thus having instant approval.

Consider how fast Epic Citadel was posted to the AppStore after the September keynote. It was near instantaneous, within a couple of hours. That's what leads me to believe Infinity Blade may not appear elsewhere a day in advance. It may appear everywhere at once. In the AppStore around the world simultaneously...if it's possible.

Cheers! I also sign on to your challenge, let's see if Epic does release IB this week

I wondered if tons of us email chair or epic, maybe they'll give in to pressure and get the game out there.

Lol! I guess we're all getting restless and impatient, aren't we?
