It was worth a shot - are apps usually released at midnight? And if so, is it according to a country's earliest time zone?
But don't new apps/games only release on Thursdays? (that's when the AppStore is updated with new spotlight titles and such) And if so, (if it were coming out this week) wouldn't it have released by now? So, maybe next Thursday?
is that true that thursdays is when new apps become available because i swear iv seen new apps released on other days
I don't think we need to stay up... I'm really sure that when it comes available on NZ, we'll know... Besides that, I live in UK, so if nothing comes up until 1am, I let you US peeps know, ok?
i'm pretty sure UK releases apps before US. order goes something like NZ, Australia, Europe, and US is one of the last
Don't they usually launch in NZ or Europe first? Is the US their first launch market for this? Confused.
What I noticed is that they start in NZ, and then it follows the 00:00 on each time zone, despite trickier markets, like Asia...
They should have released this game last week. After everyone spends their money over the next few days on game sales, a lot of people aren't going to have enough for a premium priced game. Or they may realize this and push the release day back another week or 2. Meh. I can't stand teasing. It's so obnoxious. Chair is starting to remind me of my ex-girlfriend.
Yup. They should have released this before tomorrow. Seeing that black Friday is the biggest shopping day - this game may have changed a lot of wish lists from psps and ds' to an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. At least, for graphics whores and gamers. Would have been a great title to show off. For example I'll be seeing nieces and nephews in their teens today at Thanksgiving. They all play video games. I would have shown them this, hoping to show them what the iPad could do. I know for sure, they would have asked to get a device to run this for Christmas. And tomorrow is that day when people do most of their Christmas shopping. Now, there isn't a real show off title like this to demonstrate. This would have been the perfect title for that. When your around your family and their jaws drop. Showing them they could have a near 360, in their pocket. I still feel Epic and Chair made a mistake by prolonging the release date. Seeing that the game is done.
It doesn't matter when they release it, people will buy it. In the meantime... There are thousands of apps on iTunes, go have some fun or cry and wait.
Infinity Blade is due out this holiday for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, and the iPad. Updates will, as Mustard said, follow soon after its release
