Come on chair!!! I wanna play this game already hope it comes out in the end of this month or early December.
Just so that you all know, on the latest podcast from touchgen (goto about 23 mins), they said that resident RPG "expert" Nacho will be going to Chair's studio on Monday to preview the game. He said he'll be shooting and posting hands-on video of the game alongside interviews, and will also post all the juicy details on the site. Guess IGN didn't have much of an exclusive after all.
i've read conflicting reports from a handful of different places...so i thought i'd ask you... this game will be playable on a 3Gs, correct? i've seen it mentioned that it will only be available on the 4. the front page of this thread indicates that is not true, but i just want to make sure... thanks!
Awesome find! I hope, that they release it this coming week. It would definitely drive sales of idevices to gamers, or sales for holiday devices wish lists for the huge day that is black Friday - Apple needs a must have game to market the device to gamers or their parents for the biggest shopping day of the year
New info on combat: http://uk.wireless.ign.com/articles/113/1136076p1.html "A single sword stroke really won't do much for you. Attacks are about combos, so you'll want to rapidly swipe in different directions, which creates a flurry of blows. Sounds easy, but it's only that way your first time through Infinity Blade (20-30 minutes). Infinity Blade has you repeatedly attempting to defeat the God King. Each time you die at his hands, your son returns to the God King's castle two decades later to try again. With each successive bloodline, the enemies become tougher, stronger, smarter, and more aggressive. " "Honestly, it wasn't until around my sixth bloodline that it finally clicked." Wow that sounds like a lot of replayability, love the idea of bloodlines "Infinity Blade is coming out before the end of the year at a price that won't break the bank. "
What a brilliant concept. However, I'm not much of a fan of teasing and hype. They should just release the damn game already!
So, within 20-30 minutes you've seen everything? But you are forced to grin... I mean, play over and over again to become powerful enough... nice trick to stretch game length. But so far, that sounds like Rage 2, content-wise. 20-30 min!!!!
ChAIR promised more environments, enemies, equipment, and vs multiplayer, which will definitely make IB so replayable. RAGE is nothing in comparison, especially because Carmack is not adding more content.
I don't count on promises (the Minigore 4 syndrom) I just want to see it, that's all. Like Street Fighter, this fantastic game really gets a lot of my love since they are updating like hell without any promises beforehand. Epic is testing the market with a minigame (too), and they will just update if it's going to be economical for them.
