Have you played Final Fantasy XIII? That game was pretty fun, even though:

    You couldn't control the camera

The Crystarium leveling system was linear

    The world was not open

    No shops

The world maps funneled you through as if they were a tube

You basically moved toward the next objective, rinse and repeat

USA Today is now highlighting the game

    ---------------------------------------------

"Remember that demo showcased by Epic Games (Gears of War) during Apple's fall event in San Francisco? The development house has now revealed the first details of its gaming debut on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

The game is called Infinity Blade, and will be developed by Chair Entertainment, the studio behind the Xbox 360 downloadable title Shadow Complex.

The action role-playing game features a knight as he prepares to battle the villain God-King inside a giant castle. Players will earn experience and gain more powerful equipment as they fight their way to this final encounter using swords and other weapons.

Infinity Blade will also be the first to use the Unreal Engine 3, video game technology used to power several high-profile games such as BioShock, Borderlands and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

"Chair has created an amazing looking, incredibly fun game that really demonstrates the potential of triple-A mobile gaming," says Epic Games president Dr. Michael Capps in a statement.

Epic Games did not reveal pricing or a release date for the handheld game. A demo of the game was launched in September on the App Store titled Epic Citadel."

I am guessing this will not run on iPod Touch 2G.

  5. Not even Epic Citadel worked on the 2G.

Or the 8gb iPod touch 3G, as it's not truly a 3G iPod touch.

The one thing I do wonder, will the castle be empty, other than bosses? How many bosses are there? Game play time?

    I'll be happy with 4 hours +

Seeing as Modern Warfare on 360, was like 60 bucks and 5-6 hours (didn't buy it for multiplayer) and I highly enjoyed it, I wouldn't complain about 20 bucks for 4-6 hours....if it's that short.

Excuse my one-time episode of laziness  but I don't feel like reading through 32 pages of posts...so I just have one simple question:
Is this the same game as Epic Citadel, or a different game?
    Thanks.

Epic Citadel was just a tech demo of this game.

Everything about this is good, but a game of this size will probably be like 5gb or something and that will take forever to download

A different game. Different environment. Etc.

Epic citadel was just a tech demo of the unreal engine.

    Different game. Different castle.

I bet this game is going to have more hours of gameplay than we expect. Did you notice how many swords and accessories were shown in the trailer? It seems like there's going to be a lot of stuff to collect.

That reminds me... I need to start making room on my little 8gig iPod for this game. :D

Think about it a movie is about 4gb
    A wii/x-box/PS3 game is usually about 7gb
This has PS3/ Xbox graphics and should take about 6th of space and that takes a pretty long time. As in it takes me 5-7hrs just putting a movie onto my iPod( probably because I have bad Internet connection or something)

That depends on how long the gameplay is. If it's like an average wii/Xbox/PS3 game then it would probably be 5gb. If they compress it it would download faster but still take up 5gb. ^.^

I hope the multiplayer system is in real time and not sending your character's data to some server and playing against a NPC
