Judging from the new screens, im hoping this isnt 1 of the touch and click action games like Runescape, or even worse. (Didnt feel like playing Epic Citadel or any of the videos)
Because it's a download game. When i finished the game i can't sell it to another person. Really, YOU can and YOU want to pay 20 bucks but, listen to me, at 20 dollars, it will be a flop, a big big flop... 15 dollars for me is the maximum price.
I remembered a long time ago when this man made this stupid little app, and a few people bought it but they didnt notice it costed like 400$ or 4000$....lmao
Who cares? Certainly not me. I don't buy a game simply for the resale value, nor do I do it for any other piece of entertainment. I buy it cause I want it and am willing to pay enough to compensate the developer for the effort put into it. It's great that you've learned the appeal of the used games market in brick and mortar stores like Gamestop, but it isn't the main draw for a lot of gamers. $20 is a great deal for a portable game provided it's on the scale of quality the devs are hinting at. Especially when you compare with its counterparts on other portable platforms like the DS and PSP.
First Trailer released Hi, the first Trailer was released on GameTrailers.com, take a look at it http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-debut-infinity-blade/707130
Man, the graphics seem Unreal (Pun intended ) Lololol, jokin aside, It looks great, and I can't wait to get my fingers on my iPhone which will carry this game after I bought it. Unreal.
AAww man I just got Rick Rolled ...... j/king it looks amazing and I just jizzed my pants OMGGGGGG!!!!!
This game would be a $40 UMD easy. But it won't be that much because of one, the appstore precedent on pricing, and two, the lack of physical media. So nobody should be upset at paying $20 IMO, provided the game is solid. Sure, no gamer wants to spend more money for the sake of it, I'm simply rooting for a price between $15 and $20 because I think we'll begin to see many more AAA titles like Infinity Blade in the appstore if we can bump the price ceiling just a bit. On the other hand, Black Pegasus is a hell of a game for just $7... Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Set in a castle? I thought it'd be more like epic citadel where you can roam outside. And they say it's an RPG, but all they showed in the video was fighting and buying a sword. Where's the first/third person footage of moving around? I really hope this isn't just a scenario based fighting game. Aside from the nice graphics, that trailer was pretty disappointing.
I hear you on the RPG front. Surely there must be a bigger world to play in other than the castle, otherwise I can't see this as being an RPG game at all. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
The actual quote from the video is "Set in a breathtaking 3D castle realm for you to conquer." That suggests to me that there is more to it than just a castle. The level of customization in armor and weapons seems very cool, and the swipe fighting mechanism could be amazing if it's well implemented.
yes fighting mechanism should be properly implemented but looks like you can't move manually while battling? and my assumption is the whole world will just be as big as epic citadel
I think if they combine the fighting game play with some exploration in Epic Citadel it would be cool. Its hard to tell whether its 3rd or first person.
I know. It just seems a bit suspicious that it's all fighting. Maybe it's just a teaser trailer and a better trailer will come later?
