I never made a per order before but I can't stop myself now. So how does a per order work. Will they charge me right at the moment or when it will come out? Can somebody explain it!
Yeah... Book adaptations and spinoffs are usually either bad or mediocre, rarely good, but surprisingly, Awakening was written well, and blended so much with the game. Really didnt expect that. Now im actually kinda impatient to get the second book, knowing there's going to be more good time to be had.
First off, if you want to be taken seriously, don't say "LOLOLOLOL". Second of all, PhysX is GPU-based particle acceleration software. It doesn't utilize the CPU or RAM, and an overclock to the GPU would gain you up to 2-3 frames per second, maximum. Nvidia's PhysX can run on CPUs at greatly decreased performance (roughly 10% of the optimal speed), but it truly shines on GPUs, where it only really works well on upper-tier hardware released since 2011. Of the GPUs for which it can operate, it only works on Nvidia's. ATI users need to use the CPU. Considering the iPhone 5's APU structure is made by Samsung, and is about as powerful as the PS Vita (which is weaker than the current gen's rather weak consoles), it won't even manage 10FPS with PhysX. Besides, what would be the point? Can you honestly give me one example of where ragdolls or particle physics would be helpful? Infinity Blade's finishing animations have always been cool, but watching an enemy just crumble would be boring. Besides, ragdolls and Nvidia PhysX are two completely different things. Previous generations of iPhones can run ragdolls fairly well. While there can't be too many ragdolls on screen, it can certainly manage that. What I'm trying to say is quite simple: end this argument, and read up on how proprietary software and hardware works. You'll be charged upon release. Your credit card's funds for that dollar amount will be frozen until the game comes out. As for gift cards, you will be charged upon release.
Ok I'm sure we will see this September 10th at the iPhone event running on the A7 chip rumored to have quad- core PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Because they had infinty blade 2 at for the 4s so I assume infinty blade 3 will be previewed on the iPhone 5s.
http://epicgames.com/community/2013/08/infinity-blade-redemption-preview/ I can't believe they didn't put spoiler tags at the start of the preview.
Well they don't need to. You can get the sample from the iBook store. Also they are uploading many pics from the book on their Facebook page. Sorry I can't upload at the moment. Their is some really good art work.
I'm hopeful that this one will be more of a full-fledged game, not just a graphics workout. Marketing's great, but..
They are good for what they are: mobile games. If "graphics workout" is how you see the IB franchise is, I can't say you are likely to find anything in the App Store to be a full-fledged game.
Yeah, the fight between Siris and Raidriar is pretty brutal. I hope that indicates the level of seriousness in the next installment ^^
So is infinity blade 3 confirmed in any way? Why are people assuming it will be featured at the apple event?
See the very first post quoted by Sanuku. If it's news to some respected source, then there might be some truth to it. No solid confirmation, but if someone from Chair mentions something like that, well... i'll leave it at that, but it sure does grind my gears up for some discussion.
IB1 -> Awakening -> IB 2 -> Redemption -> IB3? I'm quite sure that we'll see news about IB3 reeeeaaaally soon. I just hope that IB3 will be what IB2 was to IB1, or even more. I'm hoping for some cool improvements in both combat and exploration!
We need new locations. I mean, we can revisit a part of IB1, then a part of IB2, and then go with a bang with a couple more new locations. I was thinking... May be it would be awesome if the exploration was similar to Final Fantasy games, particularly in the FF7 and up type of exploration, then maybe random encounters that zoom in into the classic IB combat, with a few new tricks in combat. I believe that would break the monotony in the usual IB formula, and it gives a more free-roam-ish exploration to the formula.
Hells yeah! VS... My favorite RPG evar. Finished it over 10 times, twice with a maxed out Holy Win. Im currently on a playthrough on the ipad (retroarch), and i plan to max out another Holy Win Blade.
I have a feeling this may go the way of the fable series on Xbox and they'll begin to produce multiple spinoffs that nobody really wants
