Guys! I just had an apiphany!! The reason they put the 2nd currency in for all the timers and such was so that you could keep your gold for all your weapon and gear buying etc.! As in the TA review, it says the game barfs out this second currency left and right. So if you think about it, this is a smart idea. Now you can keep all your precious gold to go buy yourself a new ring! Edit: sorry I got a bit excited idk why haha
Dual wielding was pretty OP after a few levels, and by few i mean about character level100 and upwards. Leaves heavies and Lights behind in terms of damage output. The heavies shine when first starting out though, requiring only one parry break to kill most enemies. I prefer the heavies, but at almost level 400, with an attack-only build, the weakest duals kill faster than most top tier heavies. And they dont need any points into shield either. I wish they balance it out a bit more in IB3, and not make it feel like heavies are just stepping stones til duals get OP, and the Lights are there just for levelling up.
Im really jealous with the TA staff right now. They already whipped out a 5-star review and they just got me wanting the game even more.
I wonder was someone suffering from severe time zone disassociation and jet lag and pulled the trigger on the review a few hours too early Them long flights can really mess one up. I kid of course. (Obviously it was okay because Chair have tweeted links to the guide and the review which won't do any harm to hit counters) (which is a bit ironic considering the earlier Touchgen comments but thankfully there was no spoilers in this one) Anyway, hopefully that review puts to bed any of the fears and reaction to the timers and dual currency. I imagine there will still be a reaction (particularly the first to hit the 24 hour one) but hopefully people will understand what's said in the review and look at them as a game mechanic, not immediately needed and pretty easy to buy pass, sorry, meant bypass with the plentiful secondary currency. Its still going to be the standard bearer for iOS gaming. And as I've played the other two to death (of the two or three idevices I've had them on), I'm looking forward to burning out my iPad 4 with this one and jumping back into the graphical goodness and, finally, the much more prominent storyline. (On a side note, it does show just how close it came to being freemium now that the secondary currency is balanced to be very plentiful)
I'm not sure what you're on about, Chair told us to publish our review early. You'll notice IGN did the same.
Im in a different timezone, and it's 11:37 AM here. So much tim spent on waiting since 11pm last night. (i work at nights so basically, im "staying up late")
I wonder... Who do you think will post here first to announce IB3 go live? Anyways, im livestreaming more LOL Worlds 2013 while waiting for IB3. Im getting hungry though, so i might stand up get something to munch on.
