So the fact that it's a bigger game, the characters now take off their helmets, we can see the faces of Siris and Isa, instead of the back of a naked Siris, and there's two playable characters is marginal? Find something better to be pessimistic about.
Guys, Will this have elements of free roam. I'm trying to get excited for this game. I loved the first 2 but what is the main attraction or selling point for the 3rd one?
It probably won't be freeroam but you'll have more paths. Also there is 2 characters with different fighting styles. There are also 8(?) worlds. And the story continues and the game has better graphics and probably a longer story too
The interviews point to "you can choose where to go" as it was stated it'll have about 8-ish locations, but i think once you're in a location it's still semi-onrails like the previous 2 titles.
IGN has a video up where they go through the trailer. But the important part is that they talk a lot about the game itself and they have played it almost to finish so a lot of the details about the number of locations and roaming is in there. It is essentially though still on rails. You just have 10 Castles/locations now. The time spent at each will be shorter than the other games but that's down to they were essentially one location with subroutes. This has the ten locations and sub routes within each so it is a substantially larger world. Its just worth noting each of those locations won't take the same time as the single location in the others so not ten times bigger but still an awful lot bigger and more fleshed out than the other entries. Don't have a link for the video right now but just go to IGN wireless section and its at the top. There is a lot of info in it beyond them just going through the trailer because they reveal a lot of stuff that hasn't come out yet because they are actually playing the game right now (well, with a week or so).
^ Ahh I'm jealous of them. Anything spoiler-ish in the trailer before I decide to watch it? Getting 7 days to pass seems like forever... I'm also curious about how big the game is but I'm guessing it'll be around 3gb? Better graphics + more items + more areas means it'll have to be quite a bit bigger than IB2 which was already pretty big (2.5gb was it?).
Thanks for all the info guys ! I have played so much Infinity blade. I'm Infinity Bladed out but then again I said that after the first one
Just found out two days ago this epic game will be here next week Wednesday. My friend and I cannot wait! IB 2 was so sexy. Siris? Is that the AI from iphones?
Siris is the name of the incarnation Ausar was in when he defeated the God King. He decided to retain that life instead of allowing his memories to be wiped again. Thus, Siris is a more compassionate Deathless, due to his upbringing with mortal humans.
Not bad! Though I got confused when it got to the part about Siris and the GodKing. I'll have to look it up. Even after 1 book and 2 games I'm still confused. I need that last book.
Guys I am soooooo pumped to be able to use Isa, I've aaalways wanted to try out staff gameplay. I thought they would add it into IB2 but that never happened. I love that you can now wield basically all the weapon types your enemies use now, which is awesome. I see staff being a hybrid Dual/Heavy style
