I'm surprised that it'll support the iPhone 4. IB2 runs pretty bad on it.

Yep, it's not like the game spawned its own forum with thousands of members constantly discussing the plot and gameplay aswell as two separate books detailing the backstory with 600+ pages in total.
    :/

They can always write another story.

Edit: I swear your paragraph wasn't there before I typed that...

Well I wouldn't stop anyone from spending their own money but I would be careful if I were using a iPhone 4 or below. I basically quit IB2 until I got a 4S because the frame rate was so bad on the 4.

This link might already have been posted, but it bears reposting and visiting for anyone who is looking forward to next wednesday, for the sake of IB3 perhaps almost as much as iOS 7.

What a great plunge down the ladder of narrative quality that would be.

The thing that surprised me the most about the trailer was the release date at the end. I did a double-take and had to pause the video to check the date a few times before I was sure it was coming out so soon. Exciting stuff!

Besides the fact that you can now play as Isa, a fact that has flown over the heads of everyone here? She's got an entirely new fighting style that seems to favor hand-to-hand combat over conventional weaponry.

According to the article each character has their own set of weapons! That's gotta be a lot. I guess that'll include armor too?

Also it said they all have 3 fighting styles but I'm guessing they're the same 3 for both characters.

Anyone who's read the novel mind sharing how long it is? I seem to remember the first book being kind of on the short side.

    Thanks!

The Modojo preview indicates a total of six styles, three for each:

    Let's hope they are right.

IGN stated: "Although Infinity Blade III tells a sophisticated linear story (Chair estimates the game contains nearly 45 minutes of cutscenes), players will have more freedom than ever in how they tackle the game’s various challenges. From The Hideout, Siris’ new base of operations, players can select from a world map which of several fortress strongholds they want to assault, compared to just a single major playable location in both IB1 and IB2. The Hideout will also be home to a variety of eccentric allies Siris and Isa recruit along the way.
ClashMobs also return, now with multiple modes of play letting people compete and cooperate within the system’s unique “massively social” system.
Infinity Blade III will be a Universal app priced at $6.99."

That is more than enough to get me excited!

Siris: Sword and Shield, Heavy Weapons, and Dual Wield

Issa: Claws (like duals), Staves (the heavies), Batons (the lights).

Apparently Issa also have the ability to deal crossbow damage before the actual fight starts. Not sure what new tricks Siris will take with him.

Definitely not an ambush tactic. Isa doesn't use the aegis forms, but Siris as Ausar made them. He wouldn't stray from an honorable fight.

That's pretty much what I was writing. I was implying that if they took the lazy route, then both characters would have the same 3 styles. If not then there'd be 6 totally different styles. Assuming the Ausar uses his special fighting techniques, I do hope that the girl's will be 3 completely new styles.
