Even more new stuff courtesy of TouchGen http://www.touchgen.net/infinity-blade-2-preview-part-2-characters
ahh i never see the helms change. must be because you have to have the internet connection on to change helms. darn i was hoping for another GK image but i guess they didn't want to spoil that...
Same here. I'm not sure I like the new design, from the one screen I've seen it doesn't look as well rendered as the rest of the game. Like it wasn't as detailed or complex, you know what I mean?
Those enemy magic attacks look awesome! And it seems like you have even more control of the swipes this time around, they're at more accurate angles than just up down left right and diagonal. Also, they put a limit on dodging, which is cool because it will force players to learn to parry more. All in all this keeps looking better and better!
I decided this morning that I was going to purchase the Infinity Blade book and read so I can better enjoy this game when it's out. I have to say the story is pretty great and it's so much so that I'm going to finish the rest of it in Aegis stance.
yeah. too bad the only shot we have came from one of the sites with the lowest rez screen caps so we don't have much to go on. i guess they wanted to tease us i do hope they throw us another bone tomorrow or something! i definitely like the new helmet but so far the body armor looks better on the original GK. And I liked his "white knight" look. He seems to have boring, normal, dull colors now why... good choice! minus the aegis stance thing. tell us what you think after you finish!
I finished the book last night. It was a short story but very exciting none the less. It really did a wonderful job of tieing the first story together with this sequel. So much has been answered and it doesn't feel lame and I can't wait for the story to expand. I love knowing the stories truth now it really makes the first game have some true meaning. I totally recommend everyone read this short book because it really will make this game so much more interesting. Love it!
Completely agree. I loved the book and it gave the game so much more depth. Can't wait for 2. I want more books now.
@Brrobotix I wasn't asking about ways of fighting, or how many enemies there are. I just want to know if there'll be free play, so you can explore lands by your own free will. Instead of defeating a monster then cut-scene.
No. That's not what type of game this is. Thats like asking if the next Halo will be a 3rd person shooter. IB2 will have more depth and story than IB1, as well as more paths to choose and nonlinear gameplay, but its still a point and click game with sword fighting (and phenomenal graphics).
Yes! Ive been thinking for a long time that it wont be able to! Time to watch the trailer so I can get properly hyped up!
