This will have more exploration. But of you think about it, free walking would add nothing to the game
Kind of scared that IB2 won't run on the original iPad. The 1st game constantly crashes on my iPad 1 and with the new one needing a lot more RAM and stuff the original iPad doesn't have it might be worse than the first one, similar to Real Racing 2 HD on the iPad 1. But I also have an iPhone 4 so retina display + this is going to be a killer.
New interview with geremy mustard, features game footage http://www.gametrailers.com/netstorage/mobile/#player:video:724089
Wrong. This will work with the same device as IB1 work. But only iPad 2 and iPhone 4S has the special effect thingy.
People, please read a few pages before you comment asking what it will run on. That question has been answered several times already.
Expect IB 1 cant run on the iPad 1 without crashing and there are even some problems with iPhone 4 + iOS5. And I like to make the reference again to Real Racing HD looking better than Real Racing 2 HD on the iPad 1.
I'm a member on the Infinity Blade forums, and after starting a thread about the iOS 5 issues with IB on iPhone 4, I got a reply from the member Flak, who confirmed (well, he said he has heard) that Chair are working on an update to the issues caused by iOS 5. Flak is an Admin and is the Community Coordinator for Epic Games.
Gameplay: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/combat-gameplay-infinity-blade/723932 Side note: how much you want to bet that one of the statues you pass as you wander around will eventually come alive and fight you after a bunch of cycles have been completed?
Infinity Blade 1? I'm running it on my iOS 5.0.1, iPhone 4 and am having no issues. Maybe that's just me.
As someone well into a New Game+ on iOS 4, the issues are clear as day on iOS 5. I'm not the only one to notice it, as it's being well documented by others on Epic's forum and other gaming sites forums. The swipes are not as responsive, the frame rate is dramatically reduced, and even the way the gold counter on the top right goes up stutters (including the sound). It was a far more fluid game on iOS 4, and I've restored my iPhone as new, and had a replacement for another issue, and the same occurs. It's a dogs dinner on iOS 5, but it depends how much you played on iOS 4 to notice. At higher level fights, it becomes a stutter fest and is increasingly infuriating as swipes don't register, the game stutters, and even having to tap dodge twice and earlier than usual because sometimes it doesn't come off due to the lag. Oh, there's issues all right.
Us iPod Touch users have been forgotten! Noooo! Anyways, that's correct, and it will run on the iPod Touch 3rd Gen (32 Gigabyte, not 8), and 4th Gen iPod Touch as well.
