I'm stuck around there as well. So can you block an enemy's line of sight with another opponent or do they just fire through them?
It will go back to the beginning, but it seems as if the layout is changing randomly by little. It is quite a fun and intuitive interface.
It does. The layout is randomized for each level but surely within some basic parameters so as not to create impossible situations.

Oh, okay, I see your issue. It isn't land "II" (2), it's level 11 you need to clear to unlock the Endurance mode. I have yet to get that far myself.
There was an update today. I think there has been an improvement. I received an email from developers saying it reflects feedback from users.
I just downloaded this and on the main menu they are having a launch sale (2.99) for full game buy until 2/16/18. It took me through the tutorial to decide yes. I like this!
Is there a way to skip a turn if you have no more options and are stuck between enemies and obstacles? Or simply resign?
